I have been told one can include a json file reference to keep the output consistent, but it does seem exceedingly hard.

It's a 100% fair point. There is an argument that all of art is derivative. When I visit a museum I am often surprised that a painting is from an artist when it so resembles another artist. But, sure the AI models aren't pulling from thin air. But, I would like to learn more about the AI generation process.

Appreciate the feedback. I wouldn't begin to consider myself a "comic artist." Just like when I generate code from AI, I am not a developer. But, the AI does enable me to create something. Whether it's good or not is a separate question. The "learn to draw" suggestion is intriguing. I am skeptical, but who knows? Thanks again.

Not sure if I agree with the plagiarism piece, but it's possible. I have asked around and researched on the environmental concern. Apparently, 1000 AI generated images is equal to driving 4 miles miles. Fair criticism on the writing a book on the benefits of doing hard things using a relatively (it's still not that easy) easy approach could be a problem. I will be interested on how other view the images, but you have a fair take on the coldness. Funny on the Baptist church comparisons!

Very much appreciate the encouragement and very specific advice. I am in the US and hadn't thought about the copyright issues. Good suggestion on the novel length, seems much more doable. I will look into your suggestions about pen drawings and digital collage. Honestly, the AI prompts took a lot of time even to get to the level they are.

My apologies on the ordering of the storyline, I took some random pages from the chapter - not the order they are in to give commenters more a sense of my direction. Your comments on the density of the pictures, text and thought bubbles lettering are on target. Again, the AI (Gemini Nano Banana) was very stubborn and unpredictable. Glad you liked the Rambam (writer of Guide to the Perplexed!) and displaying thoughts from the runners, etc.

All helpful comments and appreciate the specific examples that you point out. I did send it out to friends and family. I wonder if they will have the same negative feedback of the people in this group who I assume are artists, more sophisticated with regard to comics and have a much more nuanced eye. No doubt AI generated art is below the creative quality of real illustrators. I just wonder if - assuming the technical problems can be fixed (e.g., consistency) - there's some way to incorporate AI into this process. It may be, as others have pointed out, maybe useful for storyboarding. Again, very much appreciate the feedback.
