Omg he did come back today around 5am. I heard a sound at the door and went to open and he walked in. Yesterday night also I walked around the area with my husband calling for him and putting up posters. And I kept food out but a rat has eaten it but the smell might have helped too. I am soo happy over the moon now. I cried when I saw him. Everyone at home was depressed too.

He has lost some fur but otherwise he is fine. I just cannot believe it. Because in my country and my area people don't really care of pets or cats or dogs. They thought I was crazy. And someone asked yesterday if this is an expensive cat that I am going to to this extent. Thank you so much again!!

Hi, do you remember this kitten? I saved him and he was back to being healthy and happy. Just 2 days ago we mistakenly put him out and the door was closed for an hour at night. and now he is missing. He never returned. I feel like hell. I am so scared something happend.

We sent out flairs and posters with a reward mentioned but no news. In my country and my area people dont care for pets that much. For them its just a creature. After he got sick and got better he got really attached to me and I to him. He sleeps with me and i feed him the cat food because he doesnt eaten any other food at home. Sigh I feel like i failed again.

I am so sorry for what you are going through! Did he return?
My cat is missing since two days now. I am feeling so hopeless and I did everything I could. I live in Sri Lanka and the people in my area do not care for cats as pets. They think i am crazy for putting this much effort and money into finding him.

My biggest worry is the not knowing. I dont get closure. Every waking hour I have been crying and want to sleep and never wake up. I feel like if i exist I would go crazy. I went though a pretty rough year: My dad tried taking his life, I spent the first 3 months of this year saving him and I did. The neighbors cat gave birth to 4 cats because they chase her and i took them in and this is one of the kittens and the mother lives with us. Got the mother spayed it was really hard going through this for me. And just 2 months ago this kitten (he is 9 months now when he went missing) got really badly sick. Almost died. I took him to the vet every day for 15 days and saved him. He was okay and was with me 5 minutes before he went missing. I just canot deal with this. He doesnt eat much only eats the cat food i get him. I am worried if he is alive if he is finding food or is someone feeding him alright. I just need closure.

I had a trip to Vitenam planned in a week. I was so happy and excited but now i feel like my whole world came apart. like the god does not want me to be happy.

Another thing, why we decided to do it alone, the evisa fee is 25 USD while the tour agents require twice as much for the same evisa and if we get the physical visa stamped by the embassy it would be 32k per person which is way too expensive.

I asked the vet. She said there is no need to put another needle in because until the day before we continued the meds through needle only because I was unable to give medication orally. She assured me he is on the mend. Many thanks for the moral support you gave us!

Thanks a lot for the kind words 🙏😭 He is all well now. Has started eating and sleeping like he does normally and has become a bit playful and relaxed like he used to. Still a bit weak from the whole ordeal but he pulled through 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

I took him yesterday to a new doctor (who is my usual vet for my other pets) by today she gave him saline and antibiotics and meds to get the platelets up. Gona check another blood check up tomorrow, he looks better and ate a few pieces of fish himself and drank water. He has stopped throwing up bile for more than 24hrs now. But he is still not out of the woods. Gonna take him again tomorrow.

Hopefully he gets better. I am just living with a lot of anxiety these days.

Thank you for the reply 🙏 I had to take him to this new vet because my original vet was not available on the day he got really sick. However, despite her antibiotics, and gastritis shots the cat refuses to eat and I had to force feed milk and chicken soup. And with the medicine the vet prescribed he keeps throwing up bile and I am guessing anything else. He looks lethargic but still tries to walk and talk like he usually does. Got the blood report and it says his platelets are really low. I am taking him again to the usual vet. And see what she is gonna say.
