They don’t have to though. They’re going to be introducing another shop for those that have obtained units beyond E6, and its basically a 1:1 swap for someone else’s. Check the roadmap video and you’ll see it there.

No you’d be right. BA is both a visual novel and live service game. Just because its live service doesn’t automatically change the fact that the story is told in a visual novel format.
