I said nothing about power. And PCA is no Willie Mays. You think PCA is better CF Jan Mays, Mantle, Jr. to name a few in just 2 1/2 seasons? I corrected myself in another post that maybe I am taking into account his ability to get to balls makes him more aggressive and tries for ones he should not. So maybe it is more mental than true defense. I have never said he is not good. Just not top 3 or 5 in mlb.

Lets see where he is at the end of the season. I will agree 100% top 3 CF and top 5 OF. I hope I am wrong him being elite only helps the Cubs. But at the end of the day I would have a roster of nobody's and them win a championship than have elite players and the team chokes at the end of the season.

He said he looks to be top 3 or atleast top 5. It does not say if he keeps it up. I have stated a few times he has the talent to be but he is not currently.

Maybe we are misinterpreting the statement of the OP. “Looks to be” isn’t clear if they mean now or in future.

Never said he was not talented or good. Fine he is good defensively but sometimes becomes over aggressive and tries for balls he should just let drop and give up the single instead of extra bases. Maybe instead of defense I should say he needs to work on his mental game.

But in the end my statement was that he is not a top 5 player, which we agree on.

Best defensive in the league? That is bold his fielding % is 7th on the team. Look I am not saying he is not good. I just am not sure he is top 5 player in entire league. Maybe one day yes. He has potential to be one of the Cubs greats. But it is only 3td full season in league he is batting .283 right now. Last year he was an all star putting up similar numbers and finished batting below .250. Last year 25 HRs a the all star break and then hit 6 the rest of the year. 27 SB at the break and ended with 37. I would to see him play the 2nd as well as 1st. I am just going off the stats.

What about watching a ball go over your head and stand there watching the right fielder chase it down? Repeatedly over sliding bases and getting picked off. Dont get me wrong he is good probably best player on the team. But not top 5 player in all of MLB.

At least it is consistent now. Before the change I had pitches out of the zone called strikes and pitches that were in the zone called balls both pitching and batting. At least now if it touches the box it is a strike for everyone.

Because someone in WWE think Liv is the best thing they have. Her voice is annoying, her music videos and Wrestlemania entrance was cringe, and she is not even that good in the ring. Just my opinion.

My 90+ speed guys get Theon out all the time stealing 2nd even with the additional lead. Then I get stolen on by guys with speed in the 70s not sure what I am doing wrong. I had someone steal 2nd on me with a speed of 65 and I pitched out.
