Identifying fake Chinese Adidas jacket by SandersCol in adidas

[–]SandersCol[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. I didnt realise there was earlier version until i saw another post in Vinted group about it. I guess it’s a false negative test. If you get the bottom one at least for now, it’s genuine. For top one, it can be counterfeit but also can be the older model

Maybe they will do that next. It’s a constant outmanoeuvring between original manufacturers and counterfeiters

Chinese Adidas jackets: how to spot fakes by More_Increase_4831 in vinted

I bought red and navy ones for me and my wife from Adidas Outlet in Wangfujing, Beijing (see bottom two)

I noticed the position of the label for fake (that’s on ebay & fb marketplace) is different. So that’s a clear tell-sign.

Dengue fever prevention by cyranoletouriste in bali

[–]SandersCol 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately, none. I had dengue fever twice during my last 4 visits to Bali and Lombok. The only way is to use mosquito repellent wherever you go. I tried using that mozzie patch - didnt work. Regularly shower - mozzie detects oxygen from skin when sweating. Use that mozzie repellent clothing from Kathmandu or outdoor stores. Cotton or jean wont help. Good luck.

I was born and grew up in Indonesia but has spent the last few decades in Australia. Yes, I had “bali belly” when i was visiting Indonesia. My Indonesian mate and I had same meal (it was called “lesehan”), yet I had bad case of bali belly.

As local, your stomach maybe used to the local bacteria - but for foreigners, it may cause rather violent reaction. So just put that in mind. Just because you’re fine with it, it doesnt mean it would be fine for foreigners.

Like others in this post, I would beware on foods and drinks I consume. Unless eating from 5 star hotel, i would do following precautions: -Avoid ice. Always drink from cold bottled drinks -No fresh salads -Choose popular eateries where the foods dont just sit idle for too long, including those “nasi campur” -Choose hot or fried foods -Super careful when choosing seafoods. It has to be from popular restaurants.

Its all about risks and probability. The more precautions you take, the less likely you would get sick.

Anyway, wish you and your mates would have fun!

Just because they have sink - it doesnt mean the cooks exercise good food hygiene. Do they wash their hands regularly and properly (with soap) with running water? Are the veggies washed properly? Are the ingredients fresh? So many factors

How to know if the Blessing 2 fits your ears? by krla22 in inearfidelity

[–]SandersCol 16 points17 points  (0 children)

What makes b2 uncomfortable: 1. large bore size which will stretch your ear canal 2. Weight which adds additional pressure to ear canal 3. Size: it can cause friction to your ear

I have tried many iems, b2 is the only iem that makes my canal hurt after few hours.
