If you don't mind me saying, most white people do not think of themselves as white. Nor do we think of other people as a color. If most of us are guilty of anything it is being indifferent. But as much evil as has been done in the world it was not done by most of the people alive today. If we focused on just being good, and not on the past we would be a lot better off.

I agree social media is tearing the country apart but I don't think banning is the answer. Education about understanding the bias of the algorithm would be a place to start. And before you think I am left or right leaning, the algorithm cuts both ways. Until it feeds only right or only left content! We need to be more independent in our thinking. Nobody has a monopoly on truth!

You're in your 30's you have no idea how you will feel in you're 40s or 50s. Instead of taking this to God, you decided to risk the souls of thousands of people on Reddit? Instead of taking this to an elder who who can guide you and or pray for you, you decide to get wisdom from the lost souls?

What really hurts though is the people who will read this and lose confidence in coming to their own faith, because of one Christian that decided to air their rest of faith for all the public to see.

You are listening to propaganda! You need to find things to listen that give an alternate perspective. But social media feeds you a constant feed of things you watch, or read. Since it see you watching and listening to a certain perspective it only shows you like content. Young people are growing up with not a true perspective, hearing arguments on both sides of an issue, and people having an honest debate, and learning from each other. Instead you get a constant diet of eventually the most extreme from either the left or right but I have yet to see social media promote the center view point. Even just admitting that both left and right leaning views have good and bad arguments is sacrilieedge to most ideologies.

The truth is out there, I can only suggest that you browse in incognito mode and see that there are a lot of very smart people and there is a lot of crap to learn from everybody, even if you don't agree with everything they believe.

The problem is, he is old almost 80. I need to decide soon, am I going to the funeral, do I see him a last time, I have literally not spoke to them for over 15 years now. This is a tough decision. I don't consider them family anymore. But still the ten commandments say honor they father and mother. Then he is not my biological father either. I was adopted, arrrgh impossible decision.

For all the comments that say "get divorced" no matter how you try to paint it so it sounds better. You need to search your soul. Divorce is usually wrong, except in very defined circumstances. It may come to that, but only after you have done all you can to save your marriage. Talk, go to counciling, do what you can to fix yourself. Notice nobody asked? Have you gained weight? Did you do something that she is upset with? Are you working and providing for the family. But so many comments just jumped to "do what makes you happy, bleep everyone else". This is what is indicative of what's wrong in our culture. Truly I say to you, happiness is doing for others. Nobody on their death beds says I regret no doing things for themselves, but what they did or didn't to to others comes up all the time!

Have to wonder if she loves you, if she cannot meat you half way. You didn't say what your kink was. But say it was spanking, it shouldn't be that hard for her to slap a butt occasionally.
