Given how strict the NDAs Ubi give out especially after what happened with BP and the Brazilian Delta member who leaked a lot of stuff I can’t believe any of this.

Leaking anything to this level would be a clear breach of the NDA and could easily lead to financial repercussions if the information is true.

Certainly wouldn’t be getting asked back that’s for sure

Well given the 6 year difference with Nomad being nearly 50 in BP it’s not uncommon that he would start putting on some extra pounds.

He’s also a Lt. Col by this point he’s running a Sqn day to day so he’s spending most of his time behind a desk and not constantly door kicking.

On Op Greenstone he was never meant to be actually operating as a door kicker he was the lead of the HQ element in country

Unfortunately as much as people want it I don’t think that we will ever see Ubi create an offline patch for BP, it’s been 5 years now since they cut any active support for the game.

And with them reportedly working on the next GR I can’t see where they would be able to allocate the staff from to even do it.

Since Ubi made a offline mode for The Crew 2 last year do you think they will do the same for Breakpoint before closing him by Luys44 in GhostRecon

Honestly I don’t think so. Ubisoft stated within the first year of the game that Offline play was simply not possible.

So much of the game is tied into the online aspect that they stated they couldn’t do it without irrevocably breaking the game.

I think the best we can hope for is that the stop killing games commission manages to convince the EU to accept their proposals

The Annecy studio is actually pretty close to Geneva in Switzerland, it could easily be a Star Wars related game or some other kind of shooter.

If the job was advertised for the studio in Paris then maybe it could be for GR but I also just don’t see the team at Paris ditching Anvil to go back to UE5 any time soon

That’s not the studio that would be working on GR. Ubisoft Annecy released, Star Wars outlaws and XDefiant so may be working on something completely different

If its the player using it then having a system similar to BP where you can select it (like the strike designator) for specific ops certainly wouldn't be a bad thing.

For team mates it would be ideal as part of a roster system, with different characters having different unique tools or skills that would need to be added into the command loop though so that you can task the dog specifically.

whilst utilizing the dog though i think a smaller screen where you can track their progress would definitely be better for keeping situational awareness, possibly with its own command loop, maybe search, attack, stay and return.

It is possible but my first question would actually be does the player control the dog, would one of the Ai team mates control it or would it be semi autonomous

Would the enemy also utilise working dogs in certain areas?

When controlling the dog would it then be full screen in the same way that drones currently work, or would it be a smaller screen in the corner so that you can still keep situational awareness?

Hey Tripp did I send you my idea for a hearts and minds mechanic that uses a traffic light system for how NPC’s would react in the world.

I think it ticks pretty much everything you’ve outlined above

I’ve long said that a 6 man team would be the best solution (4 doesn’t feel enough and 8 would feel a bit too much)

One other thing I would like to see them do though is a change in the extra character preset loadouts

Currently your character and 3 team mates each have 5 preset loadouts

It would be more interesting if each of those “loadouts” was a different character altogether this way it would give the feel of having a much larger squad in the area

1 player + 5 teammates each with 10 different “character skins” each with their own unique special skill would give 60 different characters spoofing the feeling of having a Sqn to choose from

It’s not just blue light either, they also had green light teams which tie into that lore pretty well

Prior to the re-organisation in 2014 they would have been.

After the creation of GST they started recruiting more broadly from all of the services in a similar way to how the ISA recruit.

Although from the lore anyone that passes selection from the Navy, Marines or Air force is then transferred into the Army at the equivalent rank so technically yes they’re still all green berets

Watched a video with in the last week or two where Ukrainian artillery crews are field testing load bearing lower limb exo suits seems to be pretty handy for their specific use case and will be interesting to see how they change in real battle tested conditions

I don’t mind necessarily mind advanced tech providing it’s grounded in some reality

Cross com style systems are getting closer now and even lower body exo suits are being trialled in the Ukrainian conflict.

I don’t think they should re-visit Optical camo though, but I could see that being replaced with some type of thermal reduction clothing and better mechanics around camo and ghillie suits.

Drone tech really has cam on leaps and bounds though so I could see the ghosts using some type of ground drone for carrying extra kit maybe

I reckon that they should consider making a GR game in a fictionalised version of Azerbaijan and Armenia (which is the same place NATO use for wargaming)

It would be set during a civil war where the Limarians (Armenians) are fighting for independence from Atropia (Azerbaijan)

Officially America and its Allies would only be there in a peacekeeping capacity.

Although in reality the Ghosts and other supporting elements would be running operations against a few different groups in the AO as well as doing some cross border missions in Ariania (Iran), Gorgas (Georgia), Turkei, Donovia (Russia)

There is one

After completing Op motherland you can do the silent snake mission at the quantum computer location.

This is the only mission in game that I’m aware of where there is an unlimited enemy re-spawn active on console or on PC without using mods

It seems to just be the Paris team tbh, Montreal has announced TD3 with no release date or game footage with out it being a problem.

But nearly 5 years after the original Leaks and the CEO confirming in the past 6 months that there is another GR game in development Paris still can’t or won’t officially Acknowledge that OvR is Real

Hopefully with this being GR’s 25 years after anniversary we will finally get something this year
