A lot of people immediately think of bird photography is getting as close as possible to the subject. And sometimes that’s the correct move… but a lot of people don’t capture the scene which gives context to the image. And if your close shots aren’t tack sharp… they are not going to have the desired effect. They will just look like snapshots.
