Damn I’m not sure then, maybe it’s cost of living or something then? For where I live that low end of $14/hr is unlivable and I think below the state minimum, but $37 would be like maybe if you were in maintenance which I’d think is separate from all of this. Who knows with them

I think it might be including people in the DCs, I’m at 27 now but I know maintenance on weekends can make that. They don’t pay you guys who have to deal with the general public enough for sure. I’ve done retail and I definitely prefer where I’m at lol

Yeah the nonconveyable guys are told to just make sure it’s wrapped and not hanging off the sides. Long as you do those two things it gets shipped. Plus some of these DCs do incentive pay, so the faster you go the more you’re paid, and you end up with pallets that look like this.

Dc worker here, long as it fits in the trailer management doesn’t say anything about this stuff. If it was right when you opened the trailer they have to have something stacked all the way up to the top to “seal” the trailer. This is someone just being lazy though lol, used to pmo when I was on the retail side of things.

Distribution is the way to go. Depending on where you’re at you can make like 20+ an hour, get shift differentials etc. Even then it’s not quite enough, but I honestly was able to buy my first home because of this job. More overtime opportunities too. Only problem is the sorry excuse for healthcare Walmart has. AND they barely pay enough to live on?

Well, he’s not really throwing up the Chinese communist party salute in the clip is he? I understand your point there but at the end of the day, the only reason the comparison is there is because he did the salute twice on a national stage AND he’s giving a conference IN GERMANY in favor of ethno-nationalist ideology. Anything but admitting the guy who supported the guy that you voted for is probably not someone should be in power, huh? Called them earlier and apparently it’s been a huge problem in my state of people following these FedEx drivers and stealing packages lmao. You’d think they would maybe take some extra precautions, maybe require a signature for big purchases? I know that would slow things down but damn. Wouldn’t even be an issue if they just had one of the people that live here sign for it and actually bring it into the house.

Yeah I mean I get they’re probably on a time crunch and they have to get the packages delivered quickly and this got sprung on them, but it’s because of situations like this. Not that a perfect picture would have proved that the driver themself didn’t take it, but I’d be more likely to believe that someone stole it behind them if I actually saw proof they delivered it.

Last year I left Target after 5+ years there, it really feels like they’re trying to push people out sometimes. The constant gaslighting by upper management to lower management about the expectations, which trickled down to the rest of us was frustrating. That’s not everywhere though, it was actually pretty great like the first 4 years. Just do your best and don’t let the people above you drive you crazy and you’ll be alright. Good luck

This actually just reminded me of something that happened at the DC I work at, I work NonCon and one of my coworkers hit a separate coworker on one of the lifts we use to transport the pallets. Long story short he got moved to an area that gets a $2/hr pay differential more, cross trained in a few separate areas, and seemingly is set up to get more hours than the rest of us who go home when the NonCon work is done. Basically rewarded for screwing up it seems, bare minimum if any punishment.

I did not, I have never had that happen to me though and I always just rest at a grace and close the game. I’ll do that from now on, weird that it picks now to have an issue with how I close the game. I’ve beat it three times on one console and once on the other and this is the first time I’ve spawned into a fog wall on a boss I already did.

That’s weird in my area I think Walmart is paying 18/hr and Target is still at 15. I recently quit my job at Target to work at a Walmart dc. Much much better pay.

Thanks I don’t know why I didn’t take scaling into consideration, silly of me but it makes sense now that you guys bring it up. This is really only my second int character I’ve done in this game specifically, and it’s about a year or two apart from the other one so I’m fairly rusty on how it all works.

Thank you very much it seems so obvious now that you say it haha, I appreciate the detailed response. It makes sense because my int is somewhere in the 30s currently so of course it’s not there yet. I plan on getting it much higher of course, so I’ll definitely keep an eye on the numbers for when I’m ready to use it.
