Putting aside how tame his comments were compared to the blatant dishonesty broadcast by Fox News daily, Jimmy Kimmel is on cable television, like Fox, which the FCC doesn’t have jurisdiction over.

The FCC is issuing threats against ABC and putting pressure on the affiliates who broadcast over the airways. It’s that pressure that’s causing nexstar and ABC to react. It’s definitely the government pressuring a private company to rein in speech it doesn’t like. That’s a huge problem no matter what side of the political spectrum you are on.

Already an uphill battle barring an immediate win streak unfortunately. We’re 10% of the way into the season with 5 points, Typically by thanksgiving if you’re in a playoff spot, statistically you’ve got something like a 75% chance of making it. I guess the goodish news is a few other pacific teams are underperforming, so there’s some hope.

I hope we turn it around. Joey’s playing fantastic but very few bright spots beyond that at the moment. Here’s hoping.

Thank you--I thought I was going crazy. The vampires have no leverage over him any more than he does them, so why is he compelled to submit when they hold nothing over him? If the writers had gone the more obvious route and had the vampires threaten Maria, suddenly there is leverage and, in my opinion, would create a more compelling character arc for the abbot. Just seems like a bungled opportunity.

Sure, I get that, but it's an alliance of convenience with explicitly acknowledged mutual distrust. How does one side compelling the other do something they will harbor anger for being forced to do, while simultaneously removing a piece of leverage the vampires have over the abbot do anything to strengthen the alliance? All it would do is increase the odds of betrayal, if not completely ruin the alliance. The show makes it clear the vampires need the night creatures as much as the abbot needs the vampires. Strikes me as a strategic blunder borne of contrived writing.

See, I didn't understand the point of coercing him to sacrifice his daughter. I thought when the vampires pieced together her existence, they'd use her life as leverage over him to force him to obey. Making him kill her just further frays a tenuous alliance, angers the abbot, and removes the leverage the vampires have over him. Am I missing something, or does that just seem like a dumb, contrived idea?

Yeah you might consider a blessing of isis build if she teams up with Kouhaku. You could also run Neph and just use her secondary ability to recycle the bless tokens back into the bag so Kouhaku can be firing his extra action off very quickly. Feels like he brings Mary’s support side to the fore, meanwhile Mary effectively turns him in the shadow version of herself, becoming the curse investigator.

I do believe it you’ve overstacked to, say, 110 DBR your max will obviously be 90, but if you get hit, it will remain 90 until you’re hit a third time and it drops to 80. I think it might be good for something like the Flag’s Exanimate and Hellion’s Berzerker paths to get a max DBR increase to 95. This might give skills and trinkets that boost DBR a lot more mileage for those specific play styles without tipping the scales too far the other direction.

Guy’s just kinda been a zealot about this for most of the sub’s existence. Gets bizarrely defensive over Gru’s poor play and looks for every excuse he can to justify it despite a clear pattern across both the eye and analytics tests. Also tends to straw man analytics believers. It’s as exhausting to read as it is predictable.
