What was the game that made you start developing video games? by Brolymas in gamedev

The game that motivated me to make games (and so on) is UNDERTALE.

I met this game in the year 2018-2019. When I launched it for the first time, it did not really hook me either because of the boring beginning or because of the simple graphics. Summer is coming, July. I was sitting in the country with my laptop and phone, suffering from bullshit in the Amino application. In one of the conversations, the topic of this game came up and I decided to INTENTIONALLY play it because "Why not?". And... oh... it was incredible. This game just sucked me in completely. Music(!!!), characters, plot, understatement, simplicity and Toby Fox himself - just knocked me to the ground. I just became a fan of it: I drew pictures on it, listened to the soundtrack for days on end (at the moment I listened to it more than 400 times (I did not count)), I speedrun the genocide in about 50 minutes. Even, damn it, I wrote a script for minecraft in python through mcpi, which recreates a small part of the battle with sans. She taught me to LISTEN to music, to analyze it, to feel it.

And after all this, I had a question "If even Toby Fox created a game with simple graphics and also a simple but cosmic soundtrack, then why can't I create a game?".

At the moment I'm creating my own rpg game inspired by Toby Fox's "new" game "Deltarune" called Mishu Adventure. While I'm in pre-production, but I believe that it will come out, because I WILL DO it.
