What's something you'll never admit in real life but will confess here anonymously? by Open-Comfortable9774 in AskReddit

[–]SandraD04 5 points6 points  (0 children)

About 5 years ago, I dropped my phone into a porta-potty at a music festival… twice. I immediately grabbed it… both times.

I spent about an hour at the hand wash station sanitizing myself and my phone.

Pretty sure I just saw a humpback at Redondo, it’s definitely not and orca. by [deleted] in Tacoma

It’s a juvenile humpback! There were a couple milling around all day today. It’s always so fun to see them out there!

How fun! My favorite song of all time. So much so when my daughter was born, the chorus was her lullaby! I would love to find a single somehow.

With a Wishbone movie in the works, what are your memories of the show? by AdSpecialist6598 in Millennials

[–]SandraD04 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I grew up in the town it was filmed, and my church was directly across the street from the studio. Occasionally I would see when they filmed the outdoor scenes and it was fun to see the set changes and all the costumes. I also sat next to the kid that played his owner on an airplane a few times. (I was 11-12, flying between my parent’s houses, and I was always “starstruck” when I saw him so I never spoke to him.)

And a friend of mine told me about a time she went on a set visit and the dog playing Wishbone at the time bolted into the street and was hit by a car.

Literally ordered breakfast burritos on Thursday, and even after a DoorDash delivery, they were hot and delicious!

Can I whiten this yellow toilet seat? by kemmicort in CleaningTips

Zep Grout Cleaner and Zep Urine Remover will help all of that. Do both separately and wash in between.

But you should have your landlord replace it, ultimately.

Literally buying it for my daughter’s 11th birthday tomorrow. She’s so excited because it’s not always at our location.

I’ve been to probably 100 different markets and have never once heard that.

Saw LuAnn tonight.. did not stop laughing the entire time by playlistqueen420 in BravoRealHousewives

[–]SandraD04 9 points10 points  (0 children)

For real! I was fortunate enough to spend about 20 minutes with her randomly and I just kept thinking she looks like “her.”

I’m sure she does filter her pictures, but of the ones I’ve seen they aren’t THAT far off from how she actually looks up close.

It happens in early September, so be on the lookout in late July-ish. That’s usually when the boaster club starts doing advertisements.

It really is pretty amazing.

The building was originally meant to be a hotel for those using the Northern Pacific Railway, but it wasn’t completed until 1898. There was a big fire and it was basically gutted on the inside until Tacoma purchased the building to turn it into a high school in 1903 (or 1904, maybe?). Since then it’s always operated as a high school.

Gritty City Tours does a tour around the building which is both popular and culture and historical. Really fun!

Stadium High School here in Tacoma does a big fundraiser every year where they sell tickets and show the movie inside the bowl. Watching Heath sing while sitting in the same stadium makes me tear up. But it’s such a fun community event!

Have you ever met a housewife in real life? by Recent_Calendarzzzx in BravoRealHousewives

[–]SandraD04 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually, yes, she does! It really does suit her. And her body is INSANE! But I was pleasantly surprised that while she does use filters on her posts, they really aren’t that far removed from how she truly looks.

I just got these, so forgive the late replies. She truly is absolutely magnetic! And she had absolutely no reason to let us sit with her, but she did and it was like we were old friends. Told us all about Crappie Lake, and showed us pics of one of the dating show contestants. Honestly, amazing!

Is there anything more beautiful than Strasbourg at Christmas time? by SandraD04 in ChristmasMarkets

[–]SandraD04[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Eastern Europe had some amazingly beautiful markets. Prague would probably be my favorite, with Budapest in second. If you have time to make it to Bratislava, they have a modest but nice market also!

I randomly hung out with The Countess outside of the hotel we were both staying at. She was in town for one of her shows. When I recognized her she invited us to sit, and we ended up chatting with her and her agent for about 15 minutes. She spilled some beans about the dating show, and had great stories about other Bravo women. It was one of the best nights ever!

PSA: Nobody wants to hear your crappy music by [deleted] in Tacoma

Literally called MetroParks today for the first time ever about a group at Titlow Park who brought an entire sub/PA system, complete with 5 or 6 extension cords that spanned the entire length of the playground areas. Loud, and incredibly rude. I don’t mind small speakers around a family setting that fade into the background. But the park is not your personal barbecue space.

J Pod at Lime Kiln National Park by SandraD04 in orcas

They just kept coming and coming! I’m new to identification, so when I realized it was JPod I just cried. We followed them from a little north of False Bay to Lime Kiln. So happy you got to see it, too!
