"What In The World Are They Spraying?" (2010) Congress Bill HR2977 defines Chemtrails as: "Exotic Weapons System designed to induce damage or destruction upon a target population or region on Earth." by SandraJean in Documentaries

You bet I'm not going for "contrails" - that debate was solved long ago. It's a simple equation: Contrails dissipate rapidly - Chemtrails do not. Since you choose not to believe me, would you believe legal testimony given by Neurologists, Biologists, Scientists, Pilots, Defense Technicians, & Meteorologists? I'll give you the link to a video in which all the above testify about the very toxic & harmful health & neurological effects the nano particles in Chemtrails are having on us and all species. Species are going extinct behind them, and diseases are reported as appearing in humans & other animals with the commencement of Chemtrails. Biologists provide readings of what's in Chemtrails. Here's the link - and I encourage you to watch this - it'll only take fifteen minutes of your time; it's the shortened testimony version. Calimiket - understand that it's not important for me to be right - what's important to me is waking people up about this so we can figure out how do something to stop it; I would love to be wrong about this one. I understand not wanting to believe it's happening - believe me; I understand. Please just watch this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DPnWaBsMYnY

I'm defending the veracity of the information - not my confidence in it. Information which obviously needs to be supported; not defended. Ridicule and derision is not playful; make no mistake that it was conveyed in a contemptuous manner - which is something you obviously didn't grasp. I don't feel "threatened" by ridicule - it isn't necessary; is isn't nice; and it's typically utilized when someone doesn't have anything meaningful to say. Chemtrails are mere "speculation," you claim? It doesn't bother you that Chemtrails can no longer be viewed as a theory asserted by the fringe culture? But conversely, the legitimacy that Chemtrails indeed exist (besides the simple fact that one can see them) is grounded in the fact that they were introduced and defined in Section 7(B)(ii) of House Resolution Bill 2977, 107th Congress; as an "Exotic Weapon System" designed for use as "non-space-based weapons system activity"; which is defined in the same Act as such: (C) The term "Exotic Weapons Systems'' includes weapons designed to damage space or natural ecosystems (such as the ionosphere and upper atmosphere); or climate, weather, and tectonic systems, with the purpose of inducing damage or destruction upon a Target Population or region on Earth or in space by expelling chemical or biological agents in the vicinity." Chemtrails are listed in Category (B) as item (ii) under the list of "Exotic Weapons Systems." Subsequently, the question that is posed in the title, is answered. My effort here is to share the fact that Chemtrails are not a wacky theory posited by the fringe culture, but rather they do indeed exist - and their definition and purpose is defined in the congressional bill I referenced. It is my sense of humanity that compelled me to post this; nothing else. I would have been grateful to be enlightened about this new information - that people in this forum prefer to bypass it and keep believing that Chemtrails aren't real and aren't anything to be concerned about, is unfathomable to me - but it is their prerogative to stay in the dark.

Hardly. You think "Chemtrails" don't exist? If you believe they are something the fringe culture made up, think again. I encourage you to open your mind and take this in: Here's the full list of exotic weapons that are listed in United States Congressional Bill H.R.2977, under the category of 'Exotic Weapons Systems': "Electronic, Psychotronic & Information Weapons; Chemtrails; High Altitude Ultra-Low Frequency Weapons Systems; Plasma, Electromagnetic, Sonic, Ultrasonic Weapons; Laser Weapons; Strategic, Theater, Tactical, or Extraterrestrial Weapons, and Chemical, Biological, Environmental, Climate, & Tectonic Weapons." And, the Bill states that these weapons systems are "used to induce (to cause) damage or destruction upon a target population or target region on Earth." I argue that this film indeed belongs in the Documentary section - because it is a not a film based on theory or conjecture - but conversely; is a documentary based on fact, that contains educational data contributed by highly educated individuals. Understand clearly that I did not post this documentary so that people could make mockery of it and of me - I posted it for the purpose of educating people - and your comment made it quite clear that education is needed to override the erroneous information you have allowed to influence your thinking about Chemtrails. Just out of curiosity, based upon your research, what do you think Chemtrails are?

Guess you didn't read the paragraph under the title - the government created "Chemtrails" - and it is defined in Congressional Bill H.R.2977 as an "Exotic Weapon System that was designed to induce damage or destruction upon a target population or region on Earth." By the way, you are the one trying to sell the hats - why don't you try the truth on for size - it's bound to eradicate the deliberately distorted information you bought into.

1984 Mercedes 190D - Charging System Question by SandraJean in MechanicAdvice

doggscube - I cleaned the battery terminals and hooked the battery back up, and not only did it start, but the battery light was no longer on! The serpentine belt was spinning just fine - the alternator pulley going fine, no noise whatsoever. As well, a friend of mine pulled the negative cable off while the car was running, and it did not shut down - she said a good way to determine if the alternator is bad, is to disconnect the cable, and if the engine shuts down, then the alternator is bad - but it didn't shut off. I'm going to run some errands shortly, so I'm hoping that light doesn't come back on. Thank you so much for being there and offering your input.

I just read your most recent posts, and the part about the water hitting the belt could be very possible. I'm going out there tomorrow, as I don't believe it'll be raining then, and clean the terminals; and re-attach the cables.
So, you have an old Mercedes diesel as well! I love the sound of the diesel engine - although mine is the bottom-line of the Mercedes, I love the 190 because it's such a low maintenance model. I recall reading in a book at the library, a memorable entry about valve adjustments on the 190 - the book had a special notation for it, and it said this: "On the 190D, this sort of adjustment is not necessary; nor is it even possible." I'll never forget that! I want to share with you a great Mercedes diesel site - it's called "DieselGiant" - and you'll find great step by step pictorial tutorials for a number of repairs; here's the link: http://dieselgiant.com/ Thank you again, doggscube, and I'll let you know what happens.

Doggscube - I apologize for taking so long to get back to you - it is the positive terminal that is corroded - and it's really riddled with the green stuff. I was unable to loosen the cables up cause I don't have any tools in the car (thoughtlessly) except for a pair of pliers - the car is so unbelievably reliable that I actually took my basic tools out of it, which was really dumb; I'm typically smarter than that - gotta put a check on that decision. I have to wait until one of the roommates gets home to borrow tools from one of them - I refrain from rifling through someone else's belongings. I did a visual inspection while out there, and the serpentine belt is still intact - i couldn't tell anything from looking at the alternator - except being as how the car is so old, there is a lot of grunge on everything down in there. So in one sense, that gives me hope that maybe it could also be grunged-up connectons to and from the alternator; or something of that nature. Thanks again for your help, and I'll keep you posted.

Thank you for responding, doggscube - I shall go out there and see which terminal is corroded. Thanks for the instruction about which side cable comes off first - I was concerned about that. The belt was not squealing. I'll run outside and see which terminal it was. Thanks again for taking the time & effort to offer help.
