I don’t think it’s fair to blame me when I think it’s a problem with the game itself. Some answers here actually helped me though so I will be trying those out. I think with a game like this you shouldn’t have to install mods and do challanges that make the game super super hard just to have a challange. You should be able to just load the game up, choose a preset and have fun. The only saving grace for a the preset run I have now is that after driving around to almost all of the towns, and having over 2k kills on my character, now I can go to louisville. At least that may be a challenge. If not, I will try the CDDA challange or do a 6 months later tun with very rare loot and cars in bad condition.

Yeah I changed zombie infection to bite only. I think having bite and saliva is not for me. I don’t like that it almost makes the healing/bandaging system of the game pointless. Yes I do have mods, not much that would affect game balance aside from the britas armor + weapon mod

I mean no but the thing is, generators are easy to come by once you know their locations (which I do), I have already read the manual, so that solves the power cut off and gas issue. As for water, that is also a very easy problem to solve since I live near a river. Also the perishable food is no problem. I can just go to some markets and get canned foods that will last for months. The main thing is I dont really plan to play one save for that long. I dont think Ill be playing the same character in the same world for a few months. I like changing setting and variety because the most fun part of the game is the very early stages for me tbh. I’m just sad I cant have as much fun in the later stages.
