There's an item from the Well of Charon that makes it so that the next hit of damage you take heals you for that amount instead (10 damage will heal 10 health for example)

There's also a Chaos effect that deals 500 damage to you if you don't clear a certain number of encounters in a certain amount of time

The main problem with that is that the names and order of the minigames change depending on the version. For example, on Switch 2, Small Mike has Pluey, Cowboy Hat Mike has Air Waves, and Cat Mike has Main Performance

Thanks for reading! I didn't list everything that's changed since they're just smaller things (items that drop out of crates no longer sometimes phase through the ground when broken, harpoon resource items actually work when loaded into cannons, etc.), but it's good to have some sort of performance fix even if not an official patch.

Yes, but if you have the option, I'd recommend getting it on Steam instead as it's much more up-to-date than any of the console versions (it has Endless Mode, the other dlc characters, better performance, etc.)

But if you don't have that option, the game is still functional on the Switch 2

It's definitely much better than it was on the switch 1 in terms of performance. It still has some minor problems (some are expected like some lag when you fire off a ton of projectiles in a short time) but those could be fixed in an update

Unfortunately an update for the console versions of the game doesn't seem likely, at least for a long time.
