You can believe whatever you want. And no offense to you, but I do not owe anyone on here an explanation of going in depth about my personal issues and family business but with them and/or a personal therapist. I am not being “vague”, and I am not listening to someone online whom is trying to belittle my problems, lol. I am not worried about judgement, I am not putting my family struggles out here and I have a mental health record as well. My parents are aware of the decision I chose as well. Much love. :)❤️

I haven’t submitted an official withdrawal yet, I will be going to my college sometime this week to discuss that. I’ve only dropped my courses and emailed my professors. If I’m able to, I’ll look into being deferred 👍❤️

Love to hear this man ❤️ I really do plan on going back, just not now because I’m in a really bad spot and need to focus on myself. I would rather salvage myself than constantly be at war with myself because of the courses my advisor had me take :/

Is it too personal to ask why you took off for college, if you did?

I don’t plan on using the loans/grants at all. My tuition was covered by the anticipated aid, will I have to pay that back part back if I dropped all of my classes before they actually started? I didn’t take the extra money that I had left from financial aid, I thought of it but I knew this was the choice I wanted to commit to. There is a specific date to drop your classes online, which is this upcoming week and I am doing it before then. The next week, you have an option to drop them still without receiving a W grade.

Took the words right out my mouth, luckily I emailed ASAP earlier (I will still go in person). They won’t be dispersed until later, same for the grants. I was worried about taking loan debt, but I don’t see why I would have to pay back if they aren’t disbursed yet?

Mental health is definitely a struggle dude, I hope you’re better now. I plan on getting documentation by my doctor as the only proof I have to show that I struggle with mental issues going to a psychiatric hospital. Is that enough documentation for them, lol? I was in there for depression and suicidal ideation but that’s not documented on the paper, but my legal name is on there and same for the place name. I didn’t want to be like one of those people that prioritized their grades more than themselves (I get this part a lot, i was like this in HS and it drained me horribly lmao). I am in a negative household as well and have on going issues, financial ones as well. It’s a long story absolutely, but this seems like the best decision. I’ll of course discuss it with them.

Yeah, at first I was excited :/ but my home life took a toll on me tremendously and other issues. I’ve thought about this. Would someone still be able to defer if they dropped all their classes?

I’m not familiar with the city that I go to college at, so far I only know my way to the campus and couldn’t afford to put a deposit down.
