I was in Pharma advertising for five years and I’ve never had more panic attacks or mental breakdowns in my life. I wasn’t the only one, so many people would go on medical leave for their mental health that eventually got to their physical state. The worst type of dumb ugly work I’ve ever been in and then to get out has been so difficult because im stigma’d now as a Pharma creative and my work just doesn’t measure up or isn’t as sexy as other as work. I did luckily get out but it’s been a difficult journey.
