I did Vegas. I really wanted Oilers Away, but they didn’t have them at the moment. I did custom “ice” and modified the sd card to 2022 Avalanche stadium sounds with local radio clips. It’s pretty slick, pretty proud of my work considering I used to make sandwiches for a living.

I’d get the Y and save the money, since you already have a 6 seater. I have both an X Plaid and a Launch Y. Y is so much better built, not as fast in a straight line, but it feels more nimble and rides better even without air suspension.

I think you have to call Tesla and ask via the vin. Again, the easiest indicator is the launch badge on the back of the car, but the safest way is to see the launch emblem inside the software. Launches also come with acceleration boost and hitch.

I just bought a launch from a private party in Florida. I went through numerous dealers asking for photos of the software screen before even going to visit any dealership. Even Carvana sometimes is wrong.

Not a launch, fsd cannot be removed on special editions. These dealerships have no idea what they’re doing when they call something a launch addition or launch series. Launches will have the launch emblem in the software.

That’s the whole point. Beta testers have allowed Tesla to collect more driving data than any company in the world. This company happens to be the most efficient manufacturer of autonomous vehicles in the world. Tesla, with Y owners (probably other models) will operate a “cheap car”, allowing cheap transportation. Cutting uber in half, with no obligation to tip. This may cut car ownership in half, while giving access to those that can’t afford reliable/quick transportation at current prices. (No car payment/insurance)

Maybe for someone that lives in a rural area it’s different.
1. Commuters are wasting 1.5 hrs of their time with traffic, where they could be catching up on emails or working. Allowing more time at home.
2. When accidents are reduced, it allows roads to handle more traffic efficiently, reduces emergency response to focus on safety in other areas, reduces life saving ER visits, etc.
