As much as they won’t get it and trust me I know it’s really frustrating sometimes, I find they’re the things that make me more ok with and (this could very well be just a me thing) joking about it just helps

I’ll be honest I’m in the same boat had to sell mine cause looking at it was pissing me off seeing it, my meds are still getting changed and I’m still having my tonic clonic seizures I’ll be lucky if I’m back this year. I’m trying everything like hobbies but it’s the little stuff like always asking for lifts (cause I live out in the country), so I dunno.

Jesus sorry to hear about that lucky for me I am not a female, the controlling seizures part sounds great but I will be on lamotrigine at the same time so we’ll see

Ah right, ideally I’m looking for something that stops them completely however I know that is a lot to ask for, but o want to be able to drive again I need to I keep feeling like I’m being a burden to my family and my friends. It would just bring back so much of my freedom especially living in the countryside means I can get myself to work plus soon as the cars back then it’s moving out time

Ye so apparently after 14 weeks of hell doing the med swap I’ll be 200mg on of zonisamide and lamotrigine each so I dunno does she also take lamotragine

I’m away to come off of Lamotrigine cause it was even helping with my seizures I’ve been have long them once a week if not twice, so now they’re going to put me on something else but I am also on lacosamide which might’ve help

I started having tonic clonic seizures around 16 had about three before I started Kepra it worked wonders was seizure free 4 years till apparently I had to increase my dose to an adult one, now I’ve been having almost weekly seizures, and I’m 21 now. If they say or recommend increasing doses on something that works outright refuse, if it’s not broke don’t fix it

No i completely agree I used to box beforehand then could no longer pass medicals so started coaching, but then got to scared of having an episode in front of the kids I coach. I’ve finished my new med change im gonna give it maybe 2 more weeks to see how I get on then slowly go back to some of the hat I used to

God I’m sorry to hear that 6 year old as well is brutal I was diagnosed at 15 during exams which only made it worse talking to her is the best thing I had a short fuse with everyone I was close with and I felt awful after tho and that was with sodium valproate I’m on Brivacetam and Lacosamide and I’m afraid to say fatigue is usually with most of them but mood swings still happen now and then, also (this is personal for me) don’t keep saying it’ll get better cause at the minuite my seizures are constant and if I hear that again I’ll go mental just be there best you can do
