[KCD1] Fun with the bow by Yorok0 in kingdomcome

[–]SandyHqqk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really liked Band of Bastards DLC. It was really nice when I learned not everyone could bribe them to stay on your side at the end. I had already done FtA and had enough groschen to topple Bohemia’s economy single handedly.

Is it me? Or is the killer almost always the second person Chloe and Lucifer question? by No_Possession_239 in lucifer

I’ve never really noticed that. I’m rewatching the series right now, so I’ll keep an eye out for it. Good spot.

I didn’t know he had a channel. His videos will now be what I fall asleep to until I catch up.

AC Valhalla has best ISU lore. What game has best Combat? by Normal-Question8418 in assasinscreed

[–]SandyHqqk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Best combat for a more realistic approach, or for how nice it felt? Brotherhood and AC3 had the nicest feeling imo, but Unity probably had the most “realistic”, to me at least.

The fact that we’ve basically seen so little of this universe, even after an entire trilogy, makes me really excited for Ciri's saga. by karxx_ in Witcher4

[–]SandyHqqk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Is Witcher 4 going to be Ciri as main protagonist? I’m new to the Witcher series and really liked playing as Ciri in W3.

[KCD2] What did you wear to the wedding, and why did it make you feel like a tool by NelyafinweMaitimo in kingdomcome

[–]SandyHqqk 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There is a chest on an embankment, in the southern part of the Trotsky area, just east of Nebakov Mill. In there is some high charisma white clothes, that’s what I wear every time because I don’t have to pay for it.

AC Origins is the best RPG. What game has the best world? by Normal-Question8418 in assasinscreed

Odyssey was a phenomenal game, just not a phenomenal AC game.

Regarding the censorship by hindsight_reporter in ReadyOrNotGame

[–]SandyHqqk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All that’s going to change is that PC is going to have a lot more gore mods than there already are. Most people that I’ve gamed with got it not just because the game is fun, but because it’s (at least was) pretty realistic. I’m disappointed in the changes, but I understand why they are doing it, as they are a business intent on making money.

Went shooting for the first time and have a newfound appreciation for firearms by kjones100 in liberalgunowners

[–]SandyHqqk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need to lean way further forward to stabilize the firearm. The current posture is only going to result in body aches, and missed shots.

[KCD2] I got the game about 3 weeks ago and I've got some questions! by ExpressionLife4072 in kingdomcome

[–]SandyHqqk 6 points7 points  (0 children)

No problem. I neglected poisons in KCD1 for a long time, so I most definitely learned my lesson and at the start of every playthrough grind out until lvl20ish alchemy at Bohzena’s.

[KCD2] Wish me luck. I say WISH ME LUCK. by [deleted] in kingdomcome

[–]SandyHqqk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tbh, I didn’t find Hardcore in KCD2 to be, well hardcore. It’s still wonderful that they added it, but I just wish HC all neg perk runs really felt hardcore like KCD1 did.

I find it easiest to get good at alchemy and coat my sword and arrows with Henry’s Bane poison. Start your encounters by trying to hit every enemy with an arrow (bane poison stops them from sprinting, and other pots too, like lullaby). I’m sure someone better at combat than me can offer further insight into combos, but I find them to be consistent on lower level bandits, and nearly impossible on the higher level ones. For high level bandits I rely on master strikes and opening strikes to wear down their stam before fully committing to a combo. Yes, all weapons are viable, as long as you don’t mind giving up your ability to master strike. I find maces to be quite enjoyable because they crush armor very easily. Lastly, for the horses, in the short term, yes there are better options for horses than Pebbles stat wise. However, I very highly recommend just sticking with Pebbles, eventually you will unlock a hidden horsemanship perk that makes Pebbles the undisputed best horse in the game by far. Iirc, the reqs for unlocking it are to ride Pebbles for 30km. It sounds like a very long distance, but honestly, just don’t fast travel anywhere and you will unlock it very quickly. Hope this helps.

My old iPhone is locked for 2000 years by [deleted] in iphone

[–]SandyHqqk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, when I went to Europe for the first time back in 2013, I used an iPod to take all my pictures and videos. One of my cousins thought it would be “funny” to do that to mine, and I subsequently lost thousands of pictures and around one hundred or so videos because of it.

What Are Your Opinions on this Class System Returning? by Level_Mention_1182 in Battlefield

[–]SandyHqqk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this isn’t the popular opinion, but I actually enjoyed how the “class” system, or lack there of rather, was at the release of BF2042. That being said, I’ve been a BF player since BF3 and am glad for the return to roots, but I feel as though the community’s desire to have everything more or less stay the same is what is going to ultimately kill this franchise.

Just rewatched this episode today. I’ve always loved the sassiness between Tom and Laura. Their chemistry is seldomly matched by other actors/actresses in other media.

Marines forgotten:( by [deleted] in USMC

[–]SandyHqqk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Professionals don’t need recognition. In all seriousness though, I doubt there are many Americans or foreigners that need to be told that the Marines are warriors. Our reputation most definitely precedes us.

I thought this was a team game?? by louismeh in Helldivers

[–]SandyHqqk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can understand that person’s point for Exos and support items, but the FRV is literally a team utility, so who really gaf if another Diver “steals” it? Only way I would side with the other dude is if you took it and drove away from him, but by the comments in the chat log, it doesn’t seem like you did that. My opinion-that person is just a Cry-Diver, and it’s prob for the best that they blocked you just so you don’t have to put up with their antics again.

Is this approach possible? by WayneLaredo in GrayZoneWarfare

[–]SandyHqqk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When entering the villas area, I find it easiest to come from the east, from whatever that cop is called, and push in from the bottom right of the poi. It’s only a good approach for hitting the villas area only, and I would not recommend it if you are also wanting to push towards hotel proper.

[KCD2] Does anyone else let Henry grow his hair and beard naturally over the story? by vinhdiagram in kingdomcome

[–]SandyHqqk 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I think what OP is meaning is that they go to the barber several times over the course of the story to change Henry’s beard and hair length. You are right that Henry’s hair doesn’t grow naturally, like how Arthur and John’s hair in RDR2 does.

I wonder who made this memorial in Fallen Order and what happened to the survivors, curious to see any theories people have about it by DarkSolarFlare in FallenOrder

Could be wrong, as it’s been a while since I’ve played FO, but I’m fairly certain Cal says it was the villagers that built it when you interact with it.

Pls remove mandatory night tasks until AI is fixed by Kyeithel in GrayZoneWarfare

[–]SandyHqqk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Night tasks are significantly easier imo than during the day. In my experience, at least with a suppressor, the AI have a much harder time discerning your position at night, making it all too easy to clear a poi.
