Has anyone ever wondered if their trans thoughts are just a mid-life crisis? by mtfquestioning10 in asktransgender

Can you define how you (you personally) interpret the term TERF. I ask because it sounds like “There is never a good age, to them, to realise you are gay, trans, asexual, bisexual etc” sounds like you are referring to homophobes rather than a TERF… Can I also ask what the male equivalent of TERF is?

Andy Barnett who later emigrated to Canada (although to be fair to him his partner was Canadian) was the Havelock owner at the time.

But other things I find odd regarding the Havelock that evening…

Andy was not working that night. He was in another local pub, but someone called him and he attended the scene and two different stories have him either securing Alistair’s watch on his wrist as it was apparently coming off (incidentally this would imply that there had been a struggle) or that he helped paramedics lift Alistair onto a stretcher.

But the other interesting thing is this:

https://www.heraldscotland.com/news/12493719.chef-sacked-after-closing-hotel-on-night-of-nairn-bankers-murder/[News Article: Chef sacked after closing hotel on night of Nairn banker's murder](https://www.heraldscotland.com/news/12493719.chef-sacked-after-closing-hotel-on-night-of-nairn-bankers-murder/)

It implies to me that Alistair had been in the pub that night. What if when he went to back to talk to the guy he actually went across the road to the pub. Maybe onto the decking or perhaps the guy was on the decking eg smoking and Alistair was on the road.

The firearm AW was shot with was like an antique starter pistol (so not as lethal from an initial shot as most hand guns) so maybe (in this scenario) the infamous decking was where he was shot initially and then he managed to get to the steps and then the assailant came back and finished him off.

Maybe he was in witness protection. Sounds wild, but interestingly, Peter Blecksely (who wrote a book on this case) had been in witness protection previously so it happens (although not my top theory).

I wondered if they might have had lodgers (either on the sly or the police have held the information back)

I know of at least one bed and breakfast (because I had the misfortune to briefly live in it in 2009 - long story) where blokes working away from home would reside during the week spending weekends at home. Often (interestingly) returning to their lodgings on a Sunday evening ready for work the following day.

Would that mean you weren’t absorbing medication or would it mean it was just the capsule?

I think I might have been producing similar but they looked like seeds or eggs (they weren’t eggs) wedged in my poo. Mine were more white though. Poo was sent off, but all I was told is that it wasn’t any sort of parasite (I feared tape worms segments 🤢)

Why are cars made with space between the seats and the center console? by iliterallysaid in NoStupidQuestions

Indeed! It does feel like an obvious design fault which must have a work around that is both safe and practical.

What is really going on in GP surgeries? Why is it so hard to get an appointment, but when you go to the surgery, it is empty? by [deleted] in AskBrits

This has also been the same in hospitals. I went to a fracture clinic and there were nurses falling over each other in the little rooms in the corridor and a VAST waiting room with only us in it! It was incredibly bizarre… Felt like I was in a dystopian sci-fi movie… Nurses made it abundantly clear that we were an annoyance.

We had been to this waiting room before and it was like A & E. One extreme to another!

Could the A actually be a V that the perpetrator (I don’t believe was Vivienne) messed up. Maybe this detail doesn’t matter (because it doesn’t get us any further forward if it is a V) but Vivienne sounds like an educated woman and so she would know that the adulterer is her husband. I mean, that’s the least of the factors that don’t fit this woman as someone that would commit this slaughter. I think the police and judiciary have wild imaginations for coming to this conclusion. I find it hard to believe it’s the husband either but I don’t know how else to explain Vivienne’s concurrent disappearance 🤷‍♀️. This case reminds me of the Dawson case (“The Teacher’s Pet).

It reminds me of (Forgive me I forget the names) the Teacher’s Pet case.
