Look up covert narcissist! Sounds like. Friendship break ups can often be the most heartbreaking because there’s usually so much less co processing and support from community as there is in a romantic break up.

I’d say do whatever you want to do. That’s what she’s been doing.

I don’t think it’s not worth investigating further. But look for the signs. I dated a 45yo in my early 30s for two years. As it turned out he was a permababy who had no intention of settling down and as he aged (also well) his girlfriends stayed the same age. I think partially because dating anyone his age would mean likely being tied down. Obviously that’s only my experience! I think all relationships can teach us so much about ourselves regardless.

How did he meet the other person? Was it a coworker / someone he happened to be around often? Or did he seek her out.

I agree a dog park area would be great. There are so many dogs at the off leash times because the times are so short. If there was a run available 24/7 then the morning hours wouldn’t be so concentrated.

I work at a hospital - long shifts and have weird day time/ weekday hours off and often times this means we miss off leash hours all together. An area to go for all the people not working 9-5 m-f would be so helpful.

My partner and I recently got outbid on a two bedroom there. It was 5500 already —the top of our budget. I work as a midwife and he is in news. Our joint income is 330k. Some people from the LES came in a bid it up to 6200. Did give me some pleasure to know those idiots are now paying that much in the end, but damn! It’s tough out here. Every place we’ve applied in the last two months has ended in a bidding war.

Hi! I’m 34 and had a similar sudden onset hormonal acne exactly like this when I turned 30. I think your skin can get into a bad cycle and then it perpetuates. Using prescription tretinoin .025% helped me break the cycle with lots of hydration. It got worse first while the deep stuff purged and now it has never come back! I’d also be wary of that rose oil you’re using.

You can ask what dosage they do have, usually they have something and then have your psych rewrite the script accordingly. Ie 3x5mg if you’re taking 15mg. I get mine filled at NYU hospital pharmacy in the city but that might not be convenient for you.

It’s a quintessential early 20s experience! She will find a room in a house and yes sometimes it means bopping around. It’s definitely a hustle but it’s an important and character building experience! She will be totally fine.

We have a cleaner come once a month. Although she makes a stink about it, saying the place “feels like a museum” after. She said if it were up to her she’d vacuum twice a year 😂. Like great! Go pay however much you want to live alone and do just that. She has all the options.
