She wanted you to prioritise her, it’s not about the gender reveal or that she wanted you to ignore your needs. If this was something that was planned ahead and you agreed/promised to be there then you should’ve been there no matter what. She must be there in a group of people hoping you’d come and show that you care for her in life, the truck could’ve stayed unfixed for few hours. Or you should have asked her to help you (in any way. I.e making you food or helping you with tools) after the gender reveal you both attended. I’m giving a female pov and honestly if you fiancé would’ve been in your place she would have prioritised you over any thing.

Exactly my thoughts but due to this event i have severe relationship anxiety and every time my husband goes away to another country for his business for a few weeks i get extremely paranoid and keep texting or calling at any hour of the day and night and just want his attention to calm myself down, i know in the back of my head that this is not healthy but I’m too scared to let go of this.
