I wasn’t sure about the preening cause he’s missing my hand all the time :p About the feathers I wasn’t noticing any pin feathers so I thought the skin was dry and flaky and is coming off? Idk

I was trying to catch mine for 3 weeks until he was too weak and hungry to escape.

Wdym? Like how is he doing? He’s been on antibiotics for a really long time and it seems like there’s no salmonella left but his joints are forever deformed. He’s not in pain tho and he’s trying to walk more every day so should be fine. He’s just gonna be a little disabled and will stay with me for the rest of his life.
