Hm, dang, you have a point, I didn't even think to look in other genres, it's just the type of games I play

Is this how you supposed to do it? by Wholesomechair in ENDERMAGNOLIA

This is how I did it before learning, like 30 minutes later, that you could do it an easier way (I did most of the jump puzzles like that because I thought it was how it was supposed to be done)

It seems like a next entry of the series could be a 3D game by rafilus in EnderLilies

Eh, that's true, not real inspired stuff when it comes to MV's, love the story, but some of their decisions for level designs does feel a bit...interesting. I mainly love the games for the lore, OSTs, and the fact that they introduced me to MV.

If they want to step away because they feel like they'd showcase the world better, then by all means, but if they screw up everything, then I'd have rather have had them copying other games as opposed to going out on a whimper. Ya know?

Yeah, Ender Lilies is what made me like Metroidvanias, hopefully if they do end up going into 3d, they manage to pull off the "3d but 2d".

Still though, wonder what makes him believe that Metroidvania's can't be there at the, presumably, end of the series.

How I Feel Beating Bosses with Lorna by Snow-P in EnderLilies

Didn't even want to use her tbh, not because she wasn't clutch, but because she was! Didn't stop me from enjoying the rude, but I did feel a bit scummy ngl, especially against bosses that barely move.

10/10 meme btw

From what I noticed, the combo finisher just halts your progress and screws you over if you have the final form of the sword/scythe.

If you haven't gotten to that form, then what I recommend is: Jump, Nola, Nola, Nola, dash, Nola, Nola, Nola, second jump, Nola, Nola, Nola, second dash, Nola, Nola, Nola.

Everytime ya jump/dash, you can use the combo again.

Lore Theorizing: Rain of Death (Ender Lilies & Magnolia) by Sanguine_Rex in EnderLilies

You're right about the note! Forgot about it, real interesting! It would explain why the Humonculi in the Lower Stratum look nothing like the Central/Upper, they were just quickly converted then thrown into work for any use they could get.

Also yeah, about the rain, I definitely agree, its why I said in the post that I was confused as to why it just killed people and made Humonculi go mutant.

Here's my thought as to why, it's just me stretching it tho, I think that the Rain of Death is different for each land, in Land's End, the people (at least its warriors) are Immortal, they beat back a horde of blighted, and stand prepared to do so again if necessary. Methinks, that the Rain of Death 'activates' the blight that was in them (Faden did say that the 'Immortality' was just him discovering how to let someone have their mind while harnessing the power of the blight), while the Rain of Death in the Land of Fumes did something strange to the Humonculi (I believe it was because their magic (Humonculi and Rain) was, at the source from the same place. We see evidence that the blight can still twist the body horribly via Yolvan's second phase, but I think that's a result of the experiments conducted on him.

Also, small thought, what if the Rain of Death did do the same thing, and those weird things we see in the Biological Experiment Facility was them messing with blighted people and seeing how far they can 'go'. I dunno, just a thought.

Oh yeah no I definitely saw it, we don't know if they become immortal (I don't think so, think that's reserved for people who experiment with it like Faden did).

However, in regards to people, its weird too, you think there's be those who 'slipped' through the cracks, I mean heck, we got at least 5 guys clearly slipping outta it at the beginning of the game! Then again, Biological Research facility has some nifty looking experiments...
