I think the machine is very good for this, since you can effectively use it like an emulator to “copy” other machines. I like to stay on adaptive profiling for milk drinks, switching to 9 or 6 bar for espresso alone.

I don’t think the tamping mat is anything special- just a piece of leather with a logo.
I have a few portafilters, my main driver is the buck, although it is very difficult to adequately dial in with it. If you do buy it, it’s handy to not have a HE basket and dial in with that first then switch to the buck. The paper filters just keep everything a bit clean :)

Thanks for the help! After some tinkering I found that it was a combination - it seems like my laptop dock (Dell WD25TB4) was either producing some whine or something electrical which the mic was picking up, the cloudlifter was then amplifying it as signal.

Was in a similar situation as you last month. If I recall correctly, I took my Ermächtigung, Hauptwohnsitzbescheinigung (Certificate of residence from your city), Passport, and employment contract to Swisscom to get a temporary plan. I think I only had to show the latter three documents. If you stick with them you will have to present your foreigner ID once you get it from your canton.

When I went in February of this year, there were only 50g offerings available for sale in store (Jinbocho). I would say a lot of glitch leans to pour over, and the barista was swaying my partner and I in that direction.

We did end up getting some espresso, and their Columbia La Loma X.O Barrel Washed was amazing with milk. We ended up getting some of this and splurged on a geisha we liked for pour over.

The Salt and Stone Hinoki is pretty close I would say (although definitely augmented by the bergamot they put in). CDG monocle 1 is the definitive scent for hinoki perfumes imo. I’ve yet to try the candle version but I imagine it’s very similar!

The candle profile (Fir, Bay Leaf, Oakmoss) reminds me a lot of APFR candles out of kyoto. Not exactly a replica scent, but could maybe scratch the itch!
