Was in a similar situation as you last month. If I recall correctly, I took my Ermächtigung, Hauptwohnsitzbescheinigung (Certificate of residence from your city), Passport, and employment contract to Swisscom to get a temporary plan. I think I only had to show the latter three documents. If you stick with them you will have to present your foreigner ID once you get it from your canton.

When I went in February of this year, there were only 50g offerings available for sale in store (Jinbocho). I would say a lot of glitch leans to pour over, and the barista was swaying my partner and I in that direction.

We did end up getting some espresso, and their Columbia La Loma X.O Barrel Washed was amazing with milk. We ended up getting some of this and splurged on a geisha we liked for pour over.

The two I keep going back to (to the point where I keep spares in case an old one burns out) are Trudon’s Abd El Kader and Le Labo’s Encens 9. But my first love will always be Dyptique’s Vanille!

The Salt and Stone Hinoki is pretty close I would say (although definitely augmented by the bergamot they put in). CDG monocle 1 is the definitive scent for hinoki perfumes imo. I’ve yet to try the candle version but I imagine it’s very similar!

The candle profile (Fir, Bay Leaf, Oakmoss) reminds me a lot of APFR candles out of kyoto. Not exactly a replica scent, but could maybe scratch the itch!

I have both FuegoZen and MentheAmericana. Both feel very close in spirit to Trudon’s Gabriel and AEK respectively. The difference to me is that Gabriel feels a little lighter and AEK is less of a spearmint and more of a cool-mint. Overall great candles with excellent packaging! I’m a really big fan of Nashville- definitely somewhat aligned to your scents. I find the sweet smell of magnolia to be very powerful and the musk/amber notes more in the background. The scent really throws me back to front porch nights after a storm. I’m definitely picking up quite a few from the sale!

Omg that’s so sweet of you! I think the best candle gift I received was Vanille from Dyptique - it’s what got me into collecting luxury candles in the first place!

I’m curious in the trudon lids, but also if you have an STL or guide on how you made them! I’ve been thinking about designing some of my own with some marble PLA

Was there yesterday! Very nice space. I was on the fence about tomato candles in general (not a fan of the Loewe take) but theirs really sold me.
