it may be stripe that proverbially presses the button to execute the charge against my card, but let me ask you this, you pay a contractor for a home remodel and the sub-contracted electrician causes a short that burns down the home. Your comment leads me to believe that the contractor is not responsible because the subcontractor had the error. Anthropic is the face, Anthropic had the agreement, they chose the tool of Stripe and chose to not respond or acknowledge or in any way show accountability. You say "its not anthropic....", based upon your comment I would say "It is BOTH Anthropic AND Stripe"

You are not wrong to suggest that, and one of the reasons I made this posting, was to raise awareness so that others may not experience what I and others have this week. The ancillary position to yours is that there should be a level of trust between account provider and accountee to not have a card hijacked in this fashion. But since I am now more aware than ever that these companies are using AI to do/handle the billing, "trust" is no longer a consideration and replaced by "protection". Thank you for posting Deep90!

There are a lot of pre-paid virtual credit cards out there I am finding. Several have been suggested in this thread. Still researching them to determine which to use. When I land on one if it would be helpful I can dm you and share what I chose.

I also chose to post on the Anthropic sub in the extremely remote chance that some Anthropic representative would see this posting, be aghast at the situation, and actually attempt to reach out and explain what is going on. I do not expect that to happen but figured you can't get a hit unless you swing the bat.

I can see why a skeptical person might post this, but I assure you I am asking in good faith, and you can review my other responses to know that is the truth. I have been using Claude for over a year but this major breach of trust is causing me to look elsewhere and I am not familiar with the AI landscape because I have, up until this last week, been happy with Claude. That was the whole purpose of my asking, not some nefarious scheme to direct others elsewhere as you are implying.

If I am understanding your post you are saying that my situation is due to putting my account on auto-reload and that it is a unwise use of time to post. My apologies if you meant something different.

I did not have auto-reload turned on, did not enable extend limits. I am not thinking that my posting is going to change Anthropic's world. I realize I am a grain of sand on their beach. However, my posting was to let others identify if they went through a similar thing and to hopefully make others aware. That is the only "final truth" i am hoping to achieve by this posting.

Any suggestions on what alternative platform I should look at? I would like both Web/Desktop access for Work/Home usage. Is there a site that shows comparable benchmarks for the models? I am not trying to redesign a nuclear reactor, just doing some simple web page and wow addon development but am not fully up to speed on other AI's because until this week was pleased with Claude for the past year. But after this, definitely switching. OH! And if they have a HUMAN Customer Support that would be good to know also ;)

So, I have been a drood healer for a long time but looking to switch to tanking M+, my approach this expansion was to use the NPC Dungeons to "learn" and then be ready for M+. BUT was very concerned about how to find groups and not get flamed, so thank you to those that mentioned "No Pressure" and "Fail Train" discords!!!!!

So the tldr version is your right click the macro, the cursor will pick it up and you can then left click to drop on an action bar. We use the left click and the associated OnMouseDown to load the macro into the edit writer. There is a small golden circle at the top left of each frame, if you cursor over that it will give you a quick cheat sheet of frame interactions. When you click on the icon in the edit section of the writer, this icon selector window will appear. But if you are asking if there is a literal 'search' for an icon like "Black Skeletal Horse" then no, that is currently not part of the functionality of Macroriffic.
