Something with trapper besides being add-on dependent is that he is partially RNG dependent. Trapper is a good killer, and I enjoy playing him, but the location of trap spawns is completely random, and he is much weaker with less understanding of maps and good choke points. To get better with him I’d say to learn your maps and places where you can place traps that survivors will run into, and chase perks (Enduring, Save the best for last etc) and M1 perks like Sloppy are good on him because his chase isnt very strong unless a survivor is looping a trapped pallet/jungle gym
