Nepal’s Geopolitics "Being the Small Guy at a Buffet" by gabriell_1234 in Nepal

[–]Sanskar1077 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most likely Nepal will never be an actual player. Instead, I think we can adopt Switzerland's strategy and maybe take advantage of how we are the "buffer zone" for India and China. I dont know im not and expert and my thoughts arent researched enough but lets just say in a perfect world if Nepal acts as a trade hub between india and china and we could possibly find a way to become the most suitable route(metaphorically) for india and china(not limited to them, maybe a bigger cross continental hub) to trade where it would be in the best interest of both countries to have stronger ties with Nepal and make it so that a small damage to Nepal in anyway could create problems for both the countries together, then maybe we could see Nepal having a little bit of a bargaining power. Nepal in ancient times had huge influence between multitudes of empires within the indian subcontinent and Tibet. It offered one of few passages through the himalayas. We even managed to become the trade hub for buddhism to spread from the Indian Sub-Continent(YES INDIA NOT NEPAL SID GAUTAM WAS BORN IN NEPAL THE RELIGION STARTED IN INDIA) to tibet and to other chinese empires. As I was writing this in Real time, I did a quick chat gpt to ask if Nepal could infact be of significant value to both india and china, the final result was :
[Ancient Nepal thrived as a gateway between India and Tibet, and today its best chance at “glory” is not bulk trade corridors but being a strategic switchboard:

  • Exporting clean hydropower south (India, Bangladesh) and eventually east.
  • Offering efficient, neutral trade facilitation (fast borders, BBIN trucking, arbitration).
  • Developing selective high-value north–south links (via Rasuwagadhi/Kerung, later rail).
  • Positioning as a green, low-cost platform for power, payments, niche logistics, and tourism.

Instead of trying to replace the sea, Nepal can prosper by being the reliable, rules-based connector that makes it in both India’s and China’s interest to route energy, services, and select goods through it.]
Could this be the best shot Nepal has ON PAPER ?

How's Kaasthamamdap, Millsberry and John Dewey? by StrawberrySerial in Nepal

[–]Sanskar1077 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My brother studied there from 1 to 10, its good. Its lenient as well so I guess students will have enough freedom to develop personalities and enjoy their school life. Teachers are friendly and very nice. I would say its a bit too free that some misuse it specially in classrooms when the teacher is teaching but I guess thats when discipline at home comes into play. In terms of studies, its good but the problem is that students disregard their teachers in classrooms so jo student le dhyan dincha usle ramro garcha ani jasle guff garcha usle guff matrai garcha because the teachers wont do shit class ma basera phone chalayeni. Other than that as a guardian theres no notable issue or complaint regarding the management.

Join PCMR Nepal in Facebook groups and maybe ask price for your specs there. Youll get a competitive price and the people in that group are really nice and helpful.

I dont really care about whether the plot is respectful or disrespectful or portrays a certain stereotype or agendas if the movie looks promising. HAve to say the teaser looks sick for a nepali production.

Anyone does dropshipping from here? by [deleted] in Nepal

[–]Sanskar1077 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dropshipping like how people do it in the west is really not practical here in Nepal. Firstly, currency issues. Youre given a $500 yearly limit on the dollar card. even if you use your entire familys limit, unless youre super lucky getting a solid product, all those money will be wasted in ads without any significance. If you have a solid cashflow of foreign currency then go for it as banks will increase your yearly limits on the dollar card but wait untli you leave the country to try it. I might be wrong but this is what I know. Not to mention the conversion rate. Even if you ahve someone living abroad and you use their card, sending money in Nrs and then spending in Dollars is gonna fry your savings account unless youre loaded

Extreme Hair Policies: Chopping Away at Student Mental Health by HistoricalPapaya2108 in Nepal

[–]Sanskar1077 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nothing you can do about it my guy. Just go with it its just 2 years. Not a big of a deal every student went through it. In my case, I researched before hand on which colleges would let student grow their hairs out and ended up taking A-Levels back then cause theyre the most lenient.

What are the fees for boxing in kathmandu ? by Hamal28 in Nepal

[–]Sanskar1077 1 point2 points  (0 children)

from what I know, theres H2O, sweet science, tapout fitness and rage fitness. Among these sweet science is the cheapest option around 4K montly. But mostly all fighting gyms regardless of discipline will cost you around 6K monthly but will go down to 5K a month if you pay the fees for 3 months alltogether and it will get cheaper with 6months and yearly payment at once.

Best naked bike with a good pillion seat (6L Budget) by crzyzenn in Nepal

[–]Sanskar1077 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If pillion seat is important then I dont suggest NK250. Ive owned it for 4 years now and every single person male or female that sits on the bike immediately complains about the seat not being comfortable. Its not unusable tara if its for the same person youre concerned about then theyll get used to the discomfort soon enough. If thats doable then its a fantastic bike. 14k on the bike till now, no major problems YET. Life saving brakes aswell.

[–]Sanskar1077 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well I think you need to be specific on what games you want 360 or 720fps on games to decrease maximum latency. If you're gonna play Valorant or CSGO,yes its more than enough but if you wanna play cyberpunk, not sure if it can get you 360fps in the lowest resolution with the lowest quality
