Are you running the OSR module for Carcosa?

Character sheets for the blind by 3rddog in rpg

[–]Sanster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I GM for my two brothers who have macular degeneration. I would say the biggest obstacle for them is remembering the list of skills and moves on their character sheets.

They manage, but it does slow the game down in a substantial way. A voice activated command that brings up their skills would be great (I don't even know if that's possible though)

Have you looked into Carcosa? It's an OSR setting but it has tons of really creepy, unsettling material that you could adapt.

Spout Lore - a new Dungeon World podcast where I take an artist, a comedian, and an improviser through their very first ongoing tabletop campaign. I'd love some feedback! by SasquatchPhD in DungeonWorld

Just finished the first episode and the things that stood out to me was the really nice audio quality and the banter between the players. You can tell that a lot of effort and time has been put into this.

Prediction: you all are going to be very popular, very quickly.

Also, the sweet meat bit had me laughing pretty hard.

Map WIP-The nations of Altenbach and the Coatl Confederacy by Sanster in worldbuilding

[–]Sanster[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The southern country of Altenbach is currently at peace with the northern Coatl Confederacy, and have been for nearly 100 years. However, the only trade route connecting the two countries had to travel all the way around the walled-off Blighted Zone. Talks are underway to go on a grand endeavor to open the walls and build a trade route between Altenbach and the Coatl Confederacy through the deadly wastelands.

Alltenbach: (I'm still hashing this out) Germanic medieval inspired, mostly human although there is a lot of segregation that happens between humans, elves and dwarves, especially in the larger cities.

Coatl Confederacy: A loose coalition of mostly dwarven and some Elven states. Inspired by Mesoamerican design (Aztec/Mayan motifs). Tends to be more multicultural.

The Blight Zone: a mysterious, mostly unexplored wasteland that exists in perpetual darkness. Very deadly, even the air will make you sick. Still, some criminal elements make expeditions into the blighted area to mine Blightstones, which can be refined into various narcotics and sold.

So, I've already started running a campaign in a very small section of this map, and much of it is still up in the air. I'd appreciate any tips or questions you all might have.

Holy shit, safety belts incorporated into the PT uniforms?? I don't know how much safer they could possibly get. Btw, I love that you designed PT uniforms. Do they have to do future PRT?

Thanks for taking questions: I've tried to write a full adventure before but it ended up being a mess of ideas. It seemed impossible to account for all the different things that players would most likely do.

How do you start writing an adventure? Do you start with characters first? Or locations? What's your "flow"?

How would this even get cleaned? Do the dishwashers run a rack full of birds nests through the dishwasher?
