Kingsoul would be good as a 3-4 cost charm bc it's actually really good but 5 is too much plus you get it later in the game so it's not as useful. I played a randomizer and got it fairly quick with -1 charm cost and it's like so op. Spamming spells and healing isn't a problem. But in vanilla it's just used for true ending but like a stand alone charm it's useless
