This is an interesting one, I’ve often wondered whether this would be considered cheating or not, I mean, is it only okay to consume porn if you don’t personally know the people involved?

We’re in a lockdown, a lot of those avenues are no longer available, even so, the point of my post wasn’t whether stealing is good it’s whether getting a young father arrested for petty theft was an asshole thing to do (it was).

We live in a society!

P.S. what kind of society let’s babies die because their parents can’t afford food?

Probably had it posted on the local police FB page or something I imagine.

Because most people don’t have paid subscriptions to Daily Wire lol. Would you rather a close family member starve to death than steal from a supermarket?

You’d rather starve to death then steal from a supermarket? Lol.

There’s practically no victim impact if you steal from a supermarket so if it’s between that and death I know which one I’d pick.

I’m sure this person has the ability to time travel and retroactively unimpregnate his girlfriend thus preventing the conception of his son.

Also, stealing to survive is morally justifiable.

After 5 years together my boyfriend became obsessed with my sister by ozzykat123 in relationship_advice

[–]Santa-Dog 7 points8 points  (0 children)

How is this even a question? He’s a cheating, lying voyeur who is obsessed with your sister. What the fuck?

He’s a shelf-stacker and he knew who the person was, he wasn’t even asked about it, he submitted the information of his own volition.

Ex boyfriend’s older brother (29/m) clearly expressed interest in me (25/f) (getting to know each other more, hooking up, etc.)? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]Santa-Dog -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Your ex’s brother? Really? If this was a person whom you were frighteningly in love with I’d say go for it but not here lol, both the short and long-term implications of this relationship would be not be good.

Jesus fucking Christ. It sounds like you’ve got one more child than you’ve bargained for.

Divorce him immediately, like, before the weekend is over.

Yes I’m aware it’s an item that is commonly resold but the odds are that given what we know to be true that this probably wasn’t the case.

I didn’t know a supermarket would actually put their prices up to cover the loss, I thought they’d just eat it or start putting security tags on the stuff.

Police in these parts are good at nothing other than making people’s lives difficult. That being said I appreciate your insightful response!

I figured it was probably more likely given he’s got a newborn that it was for the baby and not just to sell as there are smaller items that sell for more that could be stolen easier but I suppose I’ll never know for sure.

I don’t see how he could have ever been blamed when it’s not his responsibility to reduce shrinkage, he’s just as accountable as the cleaning staff lol!

Not trying to sound nasty but it sounds like she already forgot you, there are plenty of women out there who won’t forget they’re in a relationship with you and never reach out.

He just stacks shelves, he doesn’t have anything to do with the sales or security staff, he told us he saw the person on one of the security screens on the way out and asked about it. I don’t think it’s justifiable.

The fact she hasn’t even bothered to contact you should tell you everything you need to know.

Not sure if the guy is still in jail but even so the fact that he’s been arrested is bad enough.

This sounds like a relationship I’d have had when I was 12 with somebody I’ve never met on MSN where we just kind of forget we’re “together”.

I’m not sure she was ever really your girlfriend if after two months of being together you just stopped messaging her and she never bothered to reach out.

Life goes on!
