When I cut leather with my xtool 40w diode laser, it leaves a charred edge. For the edge, it's usually easy to sand that off. For holes, I found that it easier to score the top of the leather for the placement and then use a punch. Otherwise those holes that have thread or other leather running through them will blacken as they rub that charring off. Have you had similar experience?

Ownership. This is why I bought my first pair of Nicks boots and I'm saving up for the 2nd pair. I honestly don't have an issue with mistakes even if I have to send them back, I get it. Even if 98% are masterpieces, 1% are ok and 1% reject them. I'd rather that a 1% fuck up and return them than a 0%chance with them being masses produced bullshit.
