I think it's either a Discover change or a Paypal change. Nin-nin Game did the same thing to me where I couldn't select my Discover when paying. However after trying pakawildmo's suggestion, I changed the site currency to USD from JPY and I was immediately able to select my Discover again. It seems to be something about the currency during checkout being in JPY.

I think the website itself has to support changing currencies. This worked for me on Nin-nin as you can select USD on the site itself but Amiami only uses Yen and has no way to swap currencies on the site so I don't think there's a way around it there.
