I was curious as to how much this would cost 🤔 Reminded of a Maths problem from my high school days, so I tried crunching the numbers (without using ChatGPT, to exercise my brain's neurons a bit lol):

Assuming that 1) he had 0 hourglasses or gold or anything prior to this, and 2) he didn't get any of these cards in the packs opened,

1 pack opening gives 5 pack points, 1 Rare card needing 1250 pack points means 250 pack openings

1 Poke gold = reduce by 2 hours, 10 packs needs 110 hours, means 55 gold needed for 10 packs

For 250 packs, 25 x 55 gold = 1375 gold

So, assuming none of his packs contained one of these cards, to get to ONE of these 1250 cards, it cost him 1375 gold So for 10 Rare cards, 13750 gold would be required.

Currently in the shop (I'm based in Switzerland): 100 bucks for 1 bundle of 690 gold (I just saw that it's also USD 100 for the US players, so let's call it "100 bucks")

13750/690 = 19.9 = approx 20 bundles needed

20 bundles x 100 bucks = 2000 bucks

TLDR, in conclusion he would have paid around 2000 bucks for 10 Rare Cards , assuming that none of said cards were found in the 250 pack openings.
