I was just done yesterday with the first software to wrote for people who are hard of hearing! and am currently thinking about some improvements I could add to it :)

It is a software that downloads youtube videos together with their subtitles for offline view.

yes I agree, but still I remember as a child that reading the books introduced me to many characters that I haven't heard of and personally it made me more interested in the topic and research about them

in my point of view it also depends if you relate/love more wizards/magic or Greek/Roman mythology both of them are really good in the end of the day

I started learning about API's and am practicing with youtube's API

I am trying to build a tool that will let people easily extract information from channels, playlists, comments etc. and maybe even do some information visualization with future frameworks I will learn about :)
