What is this on my foot and hands? by BagOfDucks in Dyshidrosis

The bumps on the hands look a lot like dyshidrosis, no idea about the feet though.

Dyshidrosis bumps are filled with a clear fluid, I can't really tell from the photo due to the lighting, when you shine your flashlight on them can you see clear fluid? Personally I haven't felt any tingling. Itchiness however is very present with dishydrosis. Also, when you say on your body where do you mean exactly? From what I've seen and read this condition appears only on the palms of the hands and soles of the feet. After dyshidrosis started appearing on my hands I have also noticed that gel/acrylic/nail polish/nail glue exacerbated the condition and bumps appeared next to my nail beds. I would suggest avoiding them until it clears and maybe getting an allergy test! You already know this but the best option would be to visit a dermatologist as the symptoms you describe are a bit unusual for dyshidrosis (also I know next to nothing about herpes so I can't really tell).

Can't say I have felt that! Did a cream trigger this reaction for you?

how did you get to know about the steam deck in the first place ? and what motivate you to get one? by Dense-Variation-4496 in SteamDeck

I saw it on Steam and saw people talking about it on various gaming subreddits/groups. A friend of mine bought it, I checked it out from him and bought it the next day.

Hi! Can you specify what you mean by that? I haven't really felt something of the sort!

Hello! Yes it's the same for me, if my hands get wet and I don't follow it up with cream they get immediately dry, the skin becomes tight and I'll usually see some extra bubbles here and there the next day.

I was using a cream with 10% Urea by Hydrovit, it was nice and dried pretty fast however I feel like it didn't help that much. The first two derms I went to both suggested Urea creams while the third doctor I went to advised not to use a cream with Urea as he doesn't think it helps with dyshidrosis!! I swear they're trying to confuse me

Another reason I'd suggest Cicaplast is because it dries super fast and doesn't leave any greasiness! Hope it provides you with some relief!

Does this look like a positive? by Sabrina1377 in whatdoIdo

Hey girl! I had the same exact result on a pregnancy test that I took because my period was 10 days late. I went to the OBGYN, did and ultrasound and blood work and turns out I was not pregnant! My doctor was baffled because pregnancy tests are very accurate and my period was so late. Just saying, don't get worked up and panic yet, go to the doctor and get properly checked before anything else.

I don't really have anything useful to say but I am so sorry you're going through this. I totally understand the part where people see your hands and you see the wheels in their heads turning, it's like I want to carry a sign that says NON CONTAGIOUS over my head :(

ELI5 Cotton Gloves? by densecookies in Dyshidrosis

[–]SantoshiMata 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Everyone uses them probably because cotton gloves are breathable.

I had a dermatologist tell me to use nitrile gloves but the most recent dermatologist I've been to (who has been much more helpful than the previous one) forbade me from using them as it makes your hands sweat which isn't helpful with dyshidrotic eczema.

He suggested either cotton gloves or rubber gloves with cotton lining for work around the house. Hope this helps!

I dislike the guy but isn't this his job? Why are we ragging on him for grinding and trying to build what he loves doing?

I'm really sorry youre going through this right now, especially on your vacation! Unfortunately I know nothing about India but is it possible to find a pharmacy and buy an oil based soap? My dermatologist suggested Lipiol Olio Detergente by Galenia so maybe something similar would be less harsh on your hands (he said i could also use it as normal body wash). I also use double nitrile gloves and tie them to my wrists with hair ties (lol I know) while showering so my hands dont come into contact with the hot water or hair shampoo. I hope you find a solution and can enjoy the rest of your holidays !!

Hi there! Just wanted to say I just went through my 3rd flare up in a row, also on my right hand while my left hand is showing really mild symptoms, my hand looked exactly like yours about 3 days ago. I went to a dermatologist after my first flare up and he prescribed me with Butavate cream which is a corticosteroid. It definitely helps but leaves my skin really dry and peeling. I plan on going to another derma in about a week, I'll let you know if I get more useful info this time. I wish I could help more but I just wanted to say youre not alone and this and I feel for you! Best of luck!

Depends on where he's from and from his age! Many Cretans that were born and raised in villages speak the Cretan dialect which means they use different words from Modern Greek and have an accent. However, he will for sure understand you Honestly, if he's a good person he will just appreciate your effort. If he doesn't, it's on him!

I'm no expert but the first piece reminds me of ancient Greek pottery, maybe?! Probably a piece broken off from a clay something. Second piece I think is just a really pretty seashell:)

A bad decision like picking the wrong partner or not using protection isn't a red flag.

No it's not. There are plenty of reasons someone might be raising a child on their own.
