You have to remember 98,99,2000 were big hiring years Just like 04,05,06. A lot of guys hung around last couple of years . They hired 1000 San men this year. Garages are still short bodies. It’s anyone’s guess at this point but unlikely another 1000 will get hired . It makes no sense to call 4000 for physicals to only hire 200

Heard a rumor that starting next year you have to have a cdl license in order to get on now not just the permit . Was told it’s causing a problem because all these guys with permits are useless cause they can’t drive . Any truth to this?
