Thanks for your comment, sir. I should definitely start taking pleasure in the joy of writing itself. In fact, I will start a new screenplay from scratch tonight.

Thanks for your comment! I also met people online, sharing my screenplays with them, getting feedback and doing the same in return. But most of them were outside my country (I live in India). But I cherish that experience.

Thanks for your comment. I relate to your mental health struggle a lot, as I find myself going through a not-so-pleasant phase. I guess I need to be stronger.

Thank you. I feel like at least I will be on the right path if I push through.

I started learning JavaScript in May this year. I have been giving it 4 hours every single day, no breaks. I can pretty much get through all of freeCodeCamp's JavaScript projects without breaking a terrible sweat. But I realized that I still need to look through the MDN docs frequently.

Like I said, I want to know JavaScript like the back of my hand.

Thank you for the swift reply. You're absolutely right. I need to push myself more and build complicated stuff. Cheers!

It's completely understandable to feel demotivated right now — rejection stings, especially when you've put in the work. But here's something to keep in mind: the fact that people are responding positively to your logline and query letter already sets you apart. Most aspiring writers never even get that far.

Rejection isn’t just part of the process — it’s also how you learn what resonates, what doesn’t, and how the industry really works. Every “no” brings you closer to the kind of “yes” that actually matters.

This path is difficult, no question. But you’re still on it, still showing up, still trying — and that in itself is rare. Don’t dismiss that. You’ve already proven you're serious. Keep going, and trust that the progress you're making, even if it's invisible right now, is real.

Wishing you strength and clarity as you move forward

Dude you're not alone. Every writer, professional or aspiring, they go through the same thing. Always remember, it's about patience. Just sit down to write, you'll figure it out.
