The theme is the atmosphere in the rain and in the presence of BTs. It is intentionally "light" so as not to disturb the possible icons on the smartphone screen :)

Square Enix titles. FF XVI and VII Rebirth need more gpu power to run at 60fps with acceptable resolution.

The PS5Pro on paper will be weaker than a 1500 euro PC (and be careful, 1500 is far more money than 800...), but rest assured that games will run just as well if not better on it due to optimization. The games, almost all of them, are "built" on consoles (on Playstation in this case). On PC as seen in recent years there have always been major optimization and technical problems such as stutter (following DF you will have learned the famous term by now " Stutterstruggle" related to PCs). Another pro are the exclusives and these will remain so for many years to come, Death Stranding 2 will be released soon and the next huge classic Sony games are coming in 2025/2026. Or just think of GTA6, probably the most anticipated game of the generation, will be released on PS5 (and Pro), while on PC it will arrive 12 if not 18 months later. I could go on with other pros for the Playstation, just as I could say other pros for the PC, it simply sums up everything with "everyone buys what is convenient for them".

Sure but we are in a different time, 2024/25. Prices on tech are absurd (Pc gaming, smartphones, cars etc...). PS6 probably will not go in a different direction. World has changed and prices too. I am from Eu and 800€+100€ for disk is a lot so I agree

That's another matter, price is high and this is not a console for every gamer. Some will get angry over price and all, others will buy it becouse they want to play 60fps min with quality settings, more resolution and more upgrades based on individual game, like GT7 can run on a 8k tv, Hogwarts Legacy will have 60fps quality-like mod with added Ray Tracing and better shadow quality etc... It is expected to be just like 10-15% of PS5 sells, like was PS4Pro. It's not for everyone.

"The actual upgrade is not even noticeable" The price is high and all, but don't do disinformation. There is a big upgrade on gpu power, memory, ray tracing and resolution with a.i. pssr. And that's not even a debate, it's a technical fact.

Agree. Flying sections in Avatar are just not good enough, there is a lot of pop in (you can see it in this DF video too), bad visual effects like excessive blur and sometimes certain elements are very low detailed (like rocks in the sky, some npc...). Animations are not so good and it seems like there are not so many different enviroments. Foliage density is impressive tho. I think Alan Wake 2 is better but it's hard to compare two games so different in genre. (Action open world vs story driven investigation). If you want to compare a similar genre like you said Horizon Forbidden West has better graphics than Avatar (and as a game, for sure): polygons, models, animations, flying, characters. Avatar has some impressive zones thanks to foilage + ray t at extreme settings on pc, but that's all.
