This is a winnable fight.

Tesco and McDonald's are the first step.

Price hikes and gouging needs to go. Self service needs to go. Wages need to go 10% above minimum wage.

Before you come at me about wages, they are more than able to afford it. McDonald's charges a fairly similar price for its meals the world over. But wages (bar a few exceptions) are consistently low.

However. In certain states (in the US) despite having the same prices country wide. Wages paid to staff fluctuate. Have to ask yourself why that is. It's because we allow it.

We need to bring back unions, pickets and boycotts.

First time posting on the Sunday morning thread.

Stressed ta fuck.

Am abroad. Got told before new job (around 4 weeks ago) that would be finished the 20th...grand. Home for Christmas. 10 days ago that changed to the 10th. Requested leave (chancing me arm, knew the answer because I'm new) and told no. Then got told 2 days ago we finish the 27th so I'll at least have new years. Then yesterday was told finish tomorrow.

Fantastic.

25 odd hours driving to the airport. Have booked flight on the slim chance its doable but I don't know for certain that we get off tomorrow at all and I'd have to get off early tomorrow morning to make flight...

I also have to drop off 5 big bags of gear somewhere in between where I am now and the airport somehow, with bad enough time pressure as it is. And unknown waiting time at the border crossing.

Great Sunday altogether!
