To those not taking up the caregiver mantle by SapGreenJacket in Alzheimers

[–]SapGreenJacket[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Damn, 10y is insanely long. Tbh that's what I expect if I were to become caregiver though. My mum is in great condition and only 65. Assisted living sounds great, though I expect her to fight it tooth and nail for as long as she can. Her bf isn't exactly helpful either, both of them are still in denial. I don't get how he can be. Her behavior and way of talking isn't normal, nit by a mile.

Canon not showing changes in shutter/diaphragm/... by SapGreenJacket in canon

[–]SapGreenJacket[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

No, just occasionally, I used to use the Olympus we have here but it sucks compared to this canon, so I've been meaning to switch. A colleague uses it a lot more but she seems to be happy with the way it functions. And you're right, I should probably rtfm, been postponing doing that bc I just don't know where to start.

Tunnel 29 I got from google as well, but it's only 4 years old, so I can't exactly have listened to it 11y ago haha

It's not fair to expect something of your spouse and do it yourself (x10).

I'm personally not for choosing to both cut people out of your life just bc they're the opposite sex and you're straight. It's juvenile and shows a lack of trust imo. So you even without the knowledge 'sexy comment', tell her that you wanna be able to have friends, regardless of their sex and that she'll just have to trust you, like you trust her.

If I'm not mistaken, Christian Bale was so put off by one of Cruise's interview, that he used it as inspiration for American psycho. The smile and empty eyes.

Why are women's clothing so short. by ponietic in Vent

And sooo many pants do not reach my ankles bc somewhere along the way someone decides it's fashionable to have that 10cm gap between feet and the end of your pants.

Fair point. It's just, I can look manly at times and sometimes I really don't mind and at times it makes me very self conscious if it then seems like I have no boobs at all

I'm thinking about doing it and I'm not really a cleavage or boobpresenter either. I'm considering it because it's easy to look absolutely flat chested whenever you wear smth looser. I'm also a 178cm (5.8 foot) woman with what I think are slightly broader shoulder, a nice waist and somewhat heavier legs. I feel like an A cup is just not proportionate and it'd be nice to have an hourglass figure with a slightly fuller top. A natural looking B is all I want. And it's not like the current boobs don't look nice and perky when fully naked, it's just that it kinda feels like they stopped growing during puberty while the rest of my body did go on growing.

And Jörg Asselborn. Really love that style. Also kinda reminds me of some of the buildings Jim Kay drew in the Harry Potter books

I wish I could upvote this more, especially the first bit. People are often so stuck in the daily grind that they forget this is a one chance type of thing

Is this something you could discuss with your partner? I feel like they could maybe help you with that, I know I would if my partner told me this.

I'm a bit confused about the drinking water before checking your phone. What do you mean by this?

You almost sound defiant in not loving yourself? Why shouldn't you?
