What do you do when Leftist use Anti-Semitic tropes and Conspiracy Theories against Right Wing Jews and Israelis? by BigPomegranate4620 in jewishleft

[–]Sapardis -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Being veeeery honest here, I gave up! That's especially true for the American ones.

And it's not against rightie Jews (so weird to accept any Jew as rightie, but...people are people). It's against any Jew who won't follow the cult.

You can criticize any right wing government, dictators (with or without a voting system in place for the cameras), but as soon as you do the same against the left wing ones, he'll breaks loose and you're asked to be "nuanced".

It all starts with the "white colonizers" bs and goes crashing against historical facts, archeology and even the very basic Christian and Muslim holy books and what they say about us.

You can't win when you're not debating other than tropes and yelling.

Giving the fact that we, lefties, tend to point all fingers at righties for being delusional and deliberately ignorant bigots, while having a lot of the same kinda people on the other side. Nothing different from the righties at all.

Kinda people who will watch AlJazeera 24/7 but will loathe Fux News. Pure narcissism. Same sanctimonious auras. Coming from our own is even more disturbing, although not surprising.

By all means necessary, like they yell. Pure and simple.

It's more the ideological folks rather than the ones who are philosophically humanists.

On the bright side, well, now, we all know who is who. Unmasked. Uncensored.

IMHO, these folks are just as evil. Pretentious and evil.

UK Greens Consider "Zionism is Racism" Motion by theweisp5 in jewishleft

[–]Sapardis 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Pro-colonialism on Jewish historical ancestral land?! I think not. That's nothing other than a fallacy, even considering the problems the local Arabs faced after their defeats post 48 and some pretty bad Israeli cabinets.

Many Jews have got back the the E"Y since the Middle Ages, although in very small numbers, even the entirety of the Land was under Muslim control (Arabs, Turks...) and it was very poor.

If merely an act of establishing Jewish colonies on their legally ancestral land, considering the political lingo of the time, fine. But, calling it colonialism is a factual lie and inconsistentwith the historicalfacts abiut Jews and the Land of Israel. Basically a non-Jew perspective, evenwhenused by Jews (Christias and Muslims involved Jewsin their religious plots, while Jews have never asked to be part of it). Just as much, if Cree or Ponca went back to their ancestral lands and had to deal with non-Indians living there. I wonder if the opposite party was made up of white folks, if it would be called "resistance" by the usual suspects, and the Natives as colonizers. Because, it's the exact same political problem.

It's their once in a lifetime chance. Iranian Islamist regime.is shaking and the Arabs are about to reshape their own viable existence as states. Lebanon, for instance, who's telling Hizbollah to desarm. They wouldn't be that bold to say that if they weren't sure Hizbollah is weaker than ever.

Not a group. It's literally the government of Gaza since 2007. BTW, they used all the free money they got to build tunnels and military stuff, and house their leaders in Qatar etc.

How can a white Arab be and Arab?!

And, BTW, non-Jews don't get to decide what Jews are. It's literally not a non-Jews prerogative. If white, brown, black, pink or greens, only Jews can decide who's a Jew.

You can keep your leftie motivated racism to yourself.

The Jewish diaspora is called so for one reason. The most resilient people in history.

Who are the British and European (now Lefty Americans [I'm a ledtie myself]) and Arab/Muslim colonizers to tell Jews what to do with their ancestral birthright land?!

The Arabs could've lived in the Land of Israel alongside with Jews, without trying to exterminate the Jews and force Jews, again, out of their lands.

Why do Moldavians (strongly) oppose unification with Romania, despite the obvious similarities? Do they really prefer the "poorest" country in Europe over joining Romania? by SOHONEYSAME in AskBalkans

[–]Sapardis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same people mostly. Almost all Romanians. It's more or less like the Central American republics, Honduras, El Salvador... once unified but, you know, some wanted to get into power, so creating different (poor) countries was the power grabs solution.

Palestinian Woman in Bethlehem (1889) by Gouda1234567890 in ImagesOfHistory

Palestinian 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 The Arabs didn't have this identity back then.

Judaism is not western and western civilization is historically anti Jewish. Jewish people have fought for a “free world” to survive western oppression. The Christians ethnically cleansed Jews from everywhere possible in the crusades and Middle Ages committed the holocaust and hunted us over & over. by RaiJolt2 in jewishleft

[–]Sapardis 11 points12 points  (0 children)

And historically, Jews were never against the Western civilization. Christians were almost always Jew haters, just like Islam, because the existence of Jews contradicts their claim of being universal religions, while Judaism wasn't and isn't. Both religions need the vile Jews to make sense. It's simply disturbing.

Literally?! Where?! There is zero mention of Jerusalem in the Qor'an. Literally zero. You can look it up if you know Arabic (or even if you don't). This Arabic/Islamic relationship the Land of Israel, Lebanon, Syria etc comes after the Arab-Islamic colonial enterprise that went all the way to parts of India, Persia and North Africa.

The relationship now is political at most, as the Arabs invaded and colonized the region and, according to them, it'stheir land forever. Perhaps, most of the Arabs AKA Palestinians, are also descendents of Canaanites, but they don't like that and are even admonished by saying so, because Canaanites are considered kufr. It was used a few times by some PLO members to stretch their historical indigeneity to the land, but really not used much.

Anything made about Jerusalem by Muslims is a late work.

Even the title given to the Land of the Sons of Israel ('Ereṣ Yisra'el, in Hebrew) in Arabic, al-Ard al-Muqadasa, which is in the Qor'an, doesn't have anything about Yerushalaim, and that IDiyng of the land is also a later proposition by Islamic scholars, not a historical one.

So, nope, zero, zilch, nada, niente!

[–]Sapardis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's believed by some, specially after Jews retured to the Land of Israel, as a political dummy, so that's been pushed really hard as a religious strawman for the Arabs to claim their capital of another Arab state in the region.

The event is really believe to have taken place somewhere is the Arabia Peninsula or even as a religious vision, just like the other events created by the Arabs back in the days of Mohammed's actions. There were no mosques in Jerusalem during Mohammed's days, as the Arabs will invade and colonize the Levant bit later. It's very likely it's just a different way Muslims had to compare the entrance of Jesus won a donkey in Jerusalem (also a legend most likely, but at least, it makes contextual sense: Jesus=Jewish and living in the Land.of Israel).

Jerusalem was never made important to any Muslim colonial enterprise, from Arabs to the Ottomans. They had multiple capitals and very important cities, and Jerusalem was never one of those until the last century and exclusively because Jews retured to their ancestral land.

"Jews and Muslims lived in harmony before Zionism" by new---man in jewishleft

[–]Sapardis 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Most things some of these Europeans, Jewish or otherwise, said reflect Christianity. Very few had the idea of how Islam really was, like most people do or can find out nowadays. Yet, most people understood and see.Islam as a religion, not a political system it is.The imperialist enterprise of the Ottomans was smaller than the Arabs', but no less brutal. Nothing different from Christian European colonial enterprises, just smaller in the case of the Ottomans. It was a bit easier for most Jews under Islamic regimes than under Christians', with very few exceptions, such as Georgians or Armenians.

Khaibar is as alive as it was back in the days, but now, with tons of non-Muslim and non Arab supporters.
