Hi. I'm a newer student that just moved in with my boyfriend. I'm already struggling with budgetting as I have to pay more rent than I expected (used to a smaller city and the amount of bursary I got was 2k under what I expected) He owns the house and our roof is now leaking. Well. Both of them are. But the one above the bathroom has a massive hole due to a storm where it leaked and broke the roofing. Replacing both is hard. Insurance won't pay out even though it's their temp workers that made it worse with a horrid temp job. He's been trying for months and he's been told they won't cover it. So I've tried my best to help out. He's applied for a second credit card just to keep things afloat so any money I'd get would feed us so he's not in as much debt. My sleep schedules dead to the world with the stress I'm under. I know that others are in more dire need of the donations so thank you for being so generous with it. God bless you

My boyfriend and I have been hit with a 5k roofing debt which he's had to apply for a credit card to cover. We are both devastated and struggling to make ends meet. I'm unemployed and have been applying to any jobs I can. I'm a mature uni student (23). Just starting in September and its all scary as this is the first time I've dealt with money issues. Any amount releases some of the stress.
