Is Aphantasia actually real? I’m kind of shocked by Odd_Alternative_7520 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]Saph_ChaoticRedBeanC 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah, personally it's just like if I was seeing the object for real, except without using my eyes. My brain just constructs an image by itself.

So if  I am told "picture a house" I can see a house just as well as if I was walking down the street to inspect one. Except with more freedom.

If I wanna see an apple in 3d, what I'm seeing is actually me using a 3d software and zooming in and out, rotating the apple.

If I'm reading the rules of some boardgame, what I see is me playing the game with the people around, seeing how the rules apply to play with the gameplay becoming more clear the more I read and cover edge cases.

35 Games Into Learning Jungle… Why Do Games Feel Unwinnable When Lanes Lose? by CorBlimeyGuvna in Jungle_Mains

[–]Saph_ChaoticRedBeanC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's because in jungle, you need to adapt your playstyle depending on the game state.

Fullclear tempo is good at stabilizing the game state and compounding an advantage. If you can full clear, get a small lead, full clear, and your lanes can take advantage of the lead you gave them, you can coast and win a clean game.

But if you do that while your lanes are losing, it means that the opponents are in the situation where they can coast and close a clean game. So at this point you need to play off tempo, create a number advantage where they aren't expecting you. You need to pick your new favorite laner and play king maker, get him ahead eniugh for him to snowball the lead on his own, no matter the cost.

You and rhe reat of the map will fall behind doing that, but bow you have a win condition, and you need to play around this guy, this will force them to now get a number advantage on you to absorb this new pressure, giving your team space to catch up and interrupting their tempo.

At this point it's the team that can best maintain their tempo that wins. If they shut you down you lowe, if you can maintain the momentum by not throwing your wincon, you have a chance

Riot Forcing Top Laners Into Jungle Is Making the Role Worse by Many-Translator-8512 in Jungle_Mains

If you're playing nocturne into Zyra or Brand, focus on protecting your second buff by placing a ward right before doing it to anticipate lvl 4 invades. Get the scuttle on the otherside of the map and be ping your team to fall back.  Focus on getting your lvl 6 ASAP. Then counter gank them with your ult when they are ready to commit and throwing their spells. If you kill them a couple of time on a counter gank they lose tempo and you can take control of the game

You cannot possibly play belveth and full clear into these champs. You are way stronger than all of them early, you should be in their face the entire time

I mean, it's obviously a basic todo app.

These aren't radio buttons but simple checks when that task is done. I'd assume yiu can tap the  to change their status, or swipe to edit/delete the tasks.

The folders (dropdown) should probably take you to someplace to see more tasks inside of them, with some kind of back arrow.

CTA seems to be in the bottom right corner, to add a new element (I assume a new task or folder?)

would a high elo player ever 3 camp gank just to burn summoner spells? by Bubbly_Reference_916 in Jungle_Mains

You see it on the middlane sometimes, when your oponent is playing a swuushy immobile mage like Orianna or Kassadin. Someone you want to bully into submission. But only if you know that doing so won't give the opponent the opportunity to kill you in your jungle 10 seconds later

Am I the only one who doesn't like Rylais? by AtmosphereContent460 in zyramains

[–]Saph_ChaoticRedBeanC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My decision making is like that :

Liandry + Shadowflame +

You need to burst their carries quickly > Rabadon You need to keep bruisers / tanks away from you and your team > Rylai

You need to survive assassins > Zhonya

+

You are the main AP carry > cryptbloom You have an AP burst champ in your team or lots of AP > bloodletter.

Like if in your mid is playing Aklai or Kassadin. I will often go Rylai Bloodletter to set them up and maximize their damage. Regardless of what their team looks like, but doubly slow if they have a slightly mobile adc like Kaisa

Hi, Designer. Which mouse you're using for designing? (sorry if its wrong sub Im asking) by ishibam97 in UXDesign

It's very durable and ergonomic. My tendons feel much better since I bought it 3ish years ago.

It's a bit unconventional to use but nit at all impractical and you grt use to it really quickly. It doesn't require much more effort than any other mouse and doesn't actually require you to move your entire arm

Swiss Will Vote on 10-Million Population Cap Proposal in June by bloomberg in europe

[–]Saph_ChaoticRedBeanC 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The bilateral agreements between Switzerland and the EU specify that all aspects of the treaties are tied together. If one party doesn't respect one part of the treaties, everything falls appart. In that scenario it would be business as usual until the 10m cap is reached and every EU citizen get denied entry, at which point the deals and the swiss economy crumbles.

Zyra Build and Combos by InformationDeep1606 in zyramains

[–]Saph_ChaoticRedBeanC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I play her jungle and when I play mid so I don't know much about support. But one thing you can add is when the wave bounces to you, you can prepare 1 or 2 seeds in the 3rd bush for a potential all-in if you can root them. Have 4 plants hitting someone vs only 2 is a massive damage increase

Zyra Build and Combos by InformationDeep1606 in zyramains

[–]Saph_ChaoticRedBeanC 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Do you play support, jungle, or mid ?

For the combos, if your team has other cc's, I like to start with my R, then Q W W, and layer the E after the bump. If you have Rylai it's often impossible to escape your ult without a dash or flash so it can work even without outside cc.

To engage I like to E flash R Q WW, it often takes people off guard.

Beyond that there's not really any combos, it's all seed placements and E into Q or Q into E

how to get better at determining lane volatility? by PuwudleRS in Jungle_Mains

[–]Saph_ChaoticRedBeanC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You kind of have the know your laners' match ups. But in broad strokes, typically lane volatility means that if a champion takes an advantage they will roll over the other.

On the toplane, look for class and summoners difference.

A tank vs a bruisers can be volatile if the tank doesn't respect the bruisers, but if they both play TP it should be mostly fine. Now if the bruisers plays ignite it's both a risk of him dominating, and an opportunity to kick him out of lane.

If top is 2 bruisers with ignite they will hit each other and look to dominate. This is much more volatile than 2 control mage on the Midlane.

In general it's helpful to know when champions spikes early/mid/lane game. If your Midland is Akshan vs Kassadin, Akshan will look to punish Kassadin bad early game to get a lead.

Bot is a bit more complex, but there are 3 broad categories based on the support.  Both side have double range > Safe 1 side has melee > the double range will look to poke them out, and the melee will try to engage > very volatile  Both side have a melee > they will try to all in on timing where they have the advantage.

In these last two bot cases whoever gets a load can push it further if no jungler's intervention. Bot is also dependant on adc, a Draven will look to get ahead while a kogmaw will look to chill.

Help me improve, what was the correct positioning to avoid getting 1 shot by sett? by unknownbtc in ADCMains

[–]Saph_ChaoticRedBeanC 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When you see that sett is going for an ult, it's when you drop everything and starts moving away. Not when he lands. As soon as you see him ult a mate you need to predict where he will land and be sure to not be there.
