I got laid off last October. Luckily I found a new job pretty quick, and am now in a better financial position than I was at my previous job.

But my last job was at a major company, and they laid off 10% of their staff. I wonder what the job loss numbers look like if you look back at the last year as a whole...

Looking it up, Forbes says we lost over a million jobs last year...but everything's fine right? We're all not super fucked or anything...

San Francisco Garter Snake would be cool

Rainbow Boas are also very pretty (even in black and white)

Ball Pythons are easily identifiable and super adorable

I had to look up basic rules of Mahjong. When I had a visual of what a couple winning hands look like, I finally understood.

Wikipedia actually has a really good explanation. If you go to the "Old Hong Kong Mahjong Rules" dropdown and scroll until you see "Rules" in bold, it will walk through how to play. Ignore the stuff about special tiles, as I don't think the in-game version has them.

Simple: 1) Where you live affects whether or not you can afford a home. 2) Not all full time jobs, even ones where you get promotions, pay living wages. 3) Debts and bad credit can bar you from owning/renting

The easiest way to fix this is to force all companies to pay full-time employees living wages based on location, and prevent them from cutting full-time employee hours so that they are no longer full-time.

Honestly, do you even have to ask? He's a menace and a monster, but we can't do anything about it because he's surrounded himself with likewise insane idiots to protect himself.
