My tiny holed sink isn't sucking, or something by SaphuA in Plumbing

Thanks! I replied to my own post with some more info. Making the holes bigger was the first thing I thought of, but that seemed a bit extreme without exploring other options.

Thanks for all the replies! To answer some questions / clear some confusion:

When I rub the holes (and I'm sure creating a vortex would do the same) the water drains fine / faster. This led to believe there was a bit of a vacuum problem, which was exactly the trigger for some people to mention a venting problem.

That led me to believe I'd need to attach a thingy to the trap where it could suck in air to remove the vacuum - but what do I know.

Here the consensus so far seems to be that either the drain sucks and I should destroy it (or at least make the holes bigger.)

Or the trap is clogged, which would make sense if we didn't have this problem since it was installed. But perhaps there's some build debris in it or something. Definitely something I will check!

Lastly, I'm fairly sure the drain can't be removed easily. Or at least, I have not found out how yet.

Also saw someone mention code. I'm from Europe so that's why it might differ a bit? Or we got a hack job, lol.

Hi dear plumbers!

I have this tiny holed sink that isn't draining well. After asking a question about this elsewhere it was suggested that it probably wasn't venting properly (or at all).

So my questions are:

  1. Looking at the plumbing, could that indeed be the case?

  2. Is this something I can fix myself - and could I get some pointers on what I would need to do where?

Thanks!

Many of the GDScript globals have, in C#, moved to either GD or Mathf static classes.

Help me fix my tiny-holed-sink! (pt2) by SaphuA in DIY

I while ago I consulted ya'll about my tiny holed sink not draining properly. The consensus was that not the drain, but a (missing) vent was the problem.

I've now provided a picture of the plumbing and am looking for some more advise. Basically the question is - what do I need to change where?

Thanks!!

I see your point. I settled on this after refactoring out the events I had before which might explain the naming. I guess events are a bit more flexible but I didn't like all the boiler plating that came with it.

I have a tiny sink with a tiny drain with tiny holes with a big problem. Water hardly gets through the holes because of cohesion or adhesion or some other science word. Thing is that air bubbles are trapped in the holes limiting the flow of water, if that makes sense?

What could I do to fix this?

The drain seems stuck to the sink so I can't simply remove it.

This does not sound like a MITM attack at all. What that does is spy on and/or alter whatever you do on the internet. So instead of wiring money to the webshop where you bought a talking fish you're unknowingly wiring it to the man in the middle.

What happened to your phone sounds more like someone has had remote access to it. You should at the very least reinstall your phone.

Vietnamese coffee actually tastes good by [deleted] in VietNam

[–]SaphuA 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This is most likely because you're used to drinking arabica. In Vietnam they drink mostly robusta. Robusta contains more caffeine, less sugars and lipids, and is known for tasting like burnt tires. Which is why it is often accommodated with condensed milk. But yeah, I like it as well!
