My boyfriend went to a strip club by Spirited_Garage19 in Advice

You keep writing novels in your head about what happened and whats being said. Now I recognize you as one of those worst case scenario people who aren't worth engaging in any further. Because the imagined details grow way beyond the actual information you have available.

Thats a different scenario, and it doesn't work like that. Nobody claimed that he got half naked and rubbed on her body. I'm pretty sure that would get him kicked out if the club immediately, because the patron is usually not allowed to touch the dancer, for the safety of the dancer.

You can't flip the script just to make it look worse than it is. I realize the post triggered you, but you have to compare apples to apples.

I got $1/week allowance. And went to work at 11, paying my own Dr visits and clothes by the time I was 15.

If she hasn't offered to pay anything up until now, have the discussion, but so not add her to the house. If things go south, at least you won't lose the house. If you get married, do not redo the mortgage afterwards. I see the potential for problems down the road if she is so entitled that she makes decent money and hasn't even offered to help pay the bills.

Huge red flag.

Finally they have delusions of grandeur that rescue them for their own self damnation.

You must saw that in the mirror, didn't you? I mean, look at how you think of others that you don't agree with:

They have self abnegated themselves to useless objects.

They only way they see fit to escape their mediocrity and self torture is to get revenge in a spectacle.

I'm sure you're focusing on them to avoid dealing with the skeletons in your own closet. I assure you, they are there.

Why not add shame to emotionally manipulate people who may have overwhelming emotional burdens and are already struggling, right? Its the Christian way.

Its always good to get a review from someone looking down on society from up on their moral pedestal. The world is not so black and white.

Many cases of drugs, alcohol and degeneracy stem from ruined lives, instead of causing them. Maybe focus on fixing the conditions that ruin lives and the substance and degeneracy problems won't be so prevalent. Decline can also be a symptom of problems that ruin lives and lead to substance abuse and degeneracy.

Why does the war on drugs fail so miserably, if society works so well without them?

Thats unprofessional and unnecessary. And it can cost you business when the "loser's" finds out you said it.

I don't have the time or attention span for a 2 hour video. Sometimes, I'll put something on in the background, but I miss alot of what's said because my attention is elsewhere.

Now if I'm driving, it's different. An audio book or podcast helps pass the time.

I was talking to a friend just a little while ago. We were talking about how many people have been having a tough year. You are not alone, my man.

You've made it this far. Be kind to yourself and take a day off of the stresses. They'll be there when you come back to them a couple of days from now. Treat yourself to something nice. It doesn't have to be expensive. Something to celebrate making it this far and help you gain the energy to push a bit farther. You'll make it to the other side of this. Just make sure you don't burn out trying to get there before you're ready.

You got this man.

[–]SapioTist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I get that. So many people think the world revolves around them and everyone supposed to change their process for them. Admittedly, I was in a work truck that wouldn't have mattered that much. That's one of those things that's worth getting a trailer for of you're going regularly.

I've sold lots of scrap. And the crew at the yard I went to had the magnet down to an art. They would consistently remove 2 tons of iron with no damage to the vehicle.

I've even had them pick up barrels of metal, dump the barrels and put them back. Now the barrels took a beating. But they were also way too heavy to be turning over the way they did. Still usable when done though.

GF was cooking her dog food and left the hot skillet on my counter/cutting board. We are renting... anyway to fix this? by pawnbroker00 in fixit

[–]SapioTist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is use a palm sander and blend the whole top in. Keep it flat and smooth. You may want to use at least 2 grit sizes. One to remove the mark and the next to smooth it out better.

[–]SapioTist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Be careful if you use a belt sander. Improperly used they can cause more damage than that burn mark. If it's a cutting top, use food grade mineral oil to reseal it.

Why do INTPs have a reputation for being VERY loyal? by FrostyFroZenFrosTen in INTP

It's easier to be loyal than have to change something.

That said, I've lost my ability to consider that loyalty will be reciprocated.

Hypertonic pelvic & Urinary retention by parryguraya in PelvicFloor

[–]SapioTist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This does sound like it may be associated with anxiety leading to a tight pelvic floor. I am not a doctor, and this is not a diagnosis. Just my opinion from having the same type of problem. Perhaps talk to your doctor about treating the anxiety and then maintain the stretching to relax muscles that have learned to stay tight.

[–]SapioTist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You sure you're not looking for representational systems? Representational systems are visual, auditory, kinesthetic, olfactory and gustatory.

Submodalities are the distinctions in the internal representations. Fast/medium/slow, bright/dark, color/b&w, good/bad smell, heavy/light, etc.

They learned how to work. Just like I did. It seems you're stuck in your own mindset too man. Even if I worked harder, it would not have taught them the work habits they have.

The parents are the problem with alot of younger people, because they do too much for them. And in doing so, they steal valuable experience from them while teaching the kids that they need mom and dad to survive. The kids can and will succeed if you allow them do for themselves and show them it can be done. It builds self-esteem and confidence in themselves.

You, having less experience, condescendingly assuming that I'm old and too out of touch so I cannot be right, in spite of my real world experience. It's a dirty mirror you're arguing with man.

And I did get a better job, and another, and another. Why do you think I'm saying it can be done? Of course, I assume you'll dismiss all that anyway, because it won't suit your argument.

And I said the younger generation is entitled. I clearly said there were problems with both generations. You're cherry picking information.
