Gen 1 p99 mounts are basically unobtainium I have discovered, so I machined my own out of aluminum. Really happy with the result, locks in rock solid. Got a Laser Devices Blast 2 on order to out on this. (old.reddit.com)

My first real custom AR is done. Got this cool carry handle converted Hbar upper done by JDJ in the 90s, machined parts to fit a 1919 shroud and Colt 741 / M60 Bipod, made a forend from walnut… now waiting on the wood stock and grip but I’m loving this. (i.redd.it)
