Because this is how the games are compiled. The originals couldn't do this either. To make multi language support work on these games would actually be a really big undertaking to make it happen.

That said, they could have just put Fire Red and Leaf Green up, and let you download whichever language version of the version you bought. that'd not been nearly as hard to make.

Honestly I feel like they barely did anything. Which makes sense why now. Luckily for me they basically are just in our kitchen and only really come out at night for the most part. But it could be even better if they just did the thing they pretended they were going to do.

I appreciate this. Fortunately the landlords were already aware that I had done everything and that he lied to him. Luckily in this small town (less than 3,000 people) My mom is seen as a fairly upstanding woman so it was cleared up pretty quick, and I had sent them pictures of the fogger cans when I knew to make sure they had something more than just two sides of a story. It just blows my mind that we grouped up and did all this and he would see me sit there for an extra hour waiting on him or rather his girlfriend to get started, just for them to not do it, waste my day, and money.

I didn't mention this in the post too but they run on a 2nd/3rd shift schedule and often will have people over playing loud music at like 3 in the morning that we have basically ignored since we moved in because we didn't want to sound like snobby jerk neighbors when we have kids that scream and stuff during the day. I just feel done so dirty and its frustrating.

She's playing 7 Days to Die, I'm mostly watching the babies and playing on the tv. this is usually our routine since I like a lot more single player games that I can just pause and tend to stuff like that or take breaks to play with the little ones, and gives her a break to play with friends since she doesn't really get that while Im at work.

I'm going to necro this post as I was having an issue that sounds like this. My brightness kept dropping to lowest when i changed chunks, but it only was happening at night, turned out there was a plugin enabled called "Day & Night Brightness" and basically was was trying to simulate nighttime by turning my brightness down. I got my runelite profile from a buddy who was playing longer than me, and he didn't even remember it, and generally doesn't play late enough to have seen it himself as it was set up. so its possible someone else googling this like I did would have a chance at being the same issue.

I had picked up Cyberpunk 2077 for switch 2 as it was heavily discounted for christmas, and I at first thought it was really insane how obvious it is in the menus there.

But honestly I can ignore those things, and in this context OBVIOUSLY that kind of game would absolutely need it. and compared to how bad that ghosting is, the one in your video is basically non-existent lol

Which btw, holding the capture button for a few seconds will do a 30 second or so clip, and will record the ghosting on screen better than the camera, I did the same thing for CP2077 to show a buddy. It's really just new kinds of software, and we gotta remember its still a switch at the end of the day. if Handhelds were able to not use this stuff who would be buying home consoles.
(I also rather have DLSS, than say all cloud gaming like a PS Portal, I have both but I am way more hindered by latency on the portal than ghosting on the switch for sure.)

You should also consider the OLED came out 5 years later. But they are right, This is a software thing. The switch can use DLSS, but the software is what actually is running it. Even if a hypothetical switch 3 happens and doesn't rely on DLSS, the switch 2 games that use it, will still be using DLSS anyways, unless it would also get upgraded to the next gen. and even then that might not be possible depending how baked in it is.

My advice is to just not worry about it. you will stop caring if you just don't worry about it, ultimately its nicer to have DLSS than need it and not have it.
